La Liga: Soccer Best Bets and Analysis
Getafe vs. Real Madrid Best Bet
Kickoff: Saturday 3:00PM ET
Full betting preview: Getafe vs. Real Madrid
It was always going to happen eventually but there’ll have been huge disappointment in Madrid that Barcelona had once again topped La Liga. Real Madrid’s draw against Osasuna was their first dropped points of the season having won all of the previous six games.
Despite being level on points with their rivals there has been one major difference between Los Blancos and the Catalans this year, goals. They’ve both scored a lot, with Barcelona outscoring Real 19 to 18 but the champions have conceded seven, with Barca allowing just one goal.
This is a Real Madrid team who constantly allow their opponents a chance to score and Getafe, despite not scoring many this season, will be confident of finding the net. Real Madrid have conceded exactly one goal in every league game this season, and you can get great +225 on the same happening again here, with Real still having enough about them to seal the three points.
BET: Real Madrid to win + Both Teams To Score (+225 at Caesars)
Real Sociedad vs. Villareal Best Bet
Kickoff: Sunday 12:30PM ET
Full betting preview: Real Sociedad vs. Villareal
Sunday sees Real Sociedad facing Villareal at the Reale Arena and both teams will think they have a chance of leaving with points. Sociedad are sat seventh in La Liga with the Yellow Submarine just one spot behind them in eighth.
The visitors have only lost one game all year but they’ve tied three, nearly half. They’ve only had two home games in their opening seven and now face their sixth away game. In those away games there has been Under 2.5 goals 80% of the time, with their 3-0 win over Valladolid on the opening weekend of the season, the only exception.
It’s not the most thrilling wager in the world but betting Under 2.5 goals seems like value at -125.
BET: Under 2.5 Goals (-125 at Caesars)
Elche vs. Mallorca Best Bet
Kickoff: Monday 3:00PM ET
Full betting preview: Elche vs. Mallorca
Monday’s sole La Liga game gives us a chance to get stuck into one of the most fun markets in football, the corners market. This won’t be a game of high quality. The visitors Mallorca are sat mid-table in 12th, with Elche rooted to the bottom of the La Liga table with just one point.
However, Elche should fancy their chances of getting something from this result and will push forward, allowing Mallorca plenty of chances to counter too. There has been Over 9.5 corners in 85.7% of Elche’s games this year and it’s landed in all three of their home games. If we bet Over nine corners at +120 we will need 10 corners for the bet to win, but the stats show us that it should land.
BET: Over 9 Corners (+120 at Caesars)
