How To Bet The Suns and Bucks Without Booker and Middleton

The Suns and Bucks will be without a star player each tonight as they look to navigate their way out of the first round with both series' locked at 1-1 after their home stands.

Khris Middleton and Devin Booker have both been extremely important pieces to their teams' respective success so far this season, evidenced by these win-loss records:

  • Bucks without Middleton: 7 wins, 9, losses (.438)
  • Bucks with Middleton: 44 wins, 22 losses (.667)
  • Suns without Booker: 8 wins, 6 losses (.571)
  • Suns with Booker: 56 wins, 12 losses (.824)

Clearly, both teams have won at a much better rate when these two have been on the court. If you think both could fall again like they did in Game 2, a moneyline parlay of the two underdogs looks like the play:

If you're looking for a different angle with these two out though, there's some player prop markets that we have some nice edges on thanks to our powerful analytics model.

The two standout plays that we're liking with Khris and Book out are centered around Jrue Holiday and Mikal Bridges stepping up their roles on offense.

Holiday (with some help from Giannis) took it upon himself to try and lift the Bucks to victory after Middleton left Game 2, knocking down a pair threes in the fourth quarter.

Now as we look towards a full game without Middleton, DimersBOT has the point guard going over his points line of 21.5, projecting Holiday for 24 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists tonight.

In the next game, it's also a player's points that we're targetting, with Mikal Bridges' line of 16.5 looking a little low according to our model, which is projecting him for 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists for Game 3 in New Orleans
