The island-based track in Montreal consists of a long straightaways and chicanes and not a lot of high-speed turns. Red Bull and Ferrari will excel on this type of course.
2022 Canadian F1 Grand Prix Bets
Ferrari has been plagued by mechanical issues of late but I think they are due for a win as well as pole positions heading into qualifying. Carlos Sainz of Ferrari at +2000 is an especially tempting choice.
Britain’s Mercedes' George Russell is at +3000 and another great bet for a podium finish. He has placed in the top five of every race this year and is earning the nickname ‘Mr. Consistent.’ He even won us some money last weekend with his podium finish. Thanks George!

As for the favorites, the usual 2022 suspects Red Bull's Max Verstappen at +300, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc with odds of +350 and Verstappen's Red Bull team mate Sergio Perez at +1000 lead the way.
Verstappen has five wins on the season, including a win at the last race last Sunday in Azerbaijan, trailed by Perez and, of course, Russell.

If you’re looking for a longshot, the Alpine of Fernando Alonso really does well with long, straight-ahead speed. Betting him to finish on the podium here would be a smart value bet at +15000. While we're unlikely to see him cross the line in first, those odds mean we will still get great value on a top-3 finish.
Also worth noting: the wildlife on the island where the Canadian Grand Prix takes place can be a problem. Groundhogs have ventured on to the track and caused broken front wings in past races.
