Tuesday MLB Parlay Analysis

Astros vs. Blue Jays - 7:07PM EST

LEG 1: George Springer 1+ HR (+650) with BetMGM

Getting things started is George Springer. The Blue Jays were absolutely throttled by the Astros last night and will be looking to bounce back when they send their ace in Kevin Gausman to the mound with the offense hoping to give him some run support. Springer gets a 25.4% chance from DimersBOT to hit a homer tonight to go along with the second-highest +EV on the board at 12.9%. He has eight homers on the year with his last coming on June 2 vs. the Mets, and we love players facing their former teams for that extra little motivation in each swing.

He'll open this game with a pitching matchup against Hunter Brown who has never faced this Blue Jays lineup before so he may struggle to navigate through the batting order. He's allowed four home runs this year, and they've all come in his last five starts. He can be prone to allowing hard contact and dangerous launch angles, so we like our chances with Springer tonight.

Cubs vs. Angels - 9:38PM EST

LEG 2: Shohei Ohtani 1+ HR (+400) with BetMGM

Do we really need to dive deep into this one? Shohei Ohtani has 15 home runs this year with some of the hardest-hit balls in the league. He's nice and due as he hasn't teed one off in June yet, and our model gives him a 30.6% chance to do so.

Hayden Wesneski (4.81 ERA) will get the nod for the Cubs. He's a vulnerable pitcher with a low fastball velocity and a penchant for giving up barrels (the perfect combination of launch angle and exit velocity). He's allowed ten home runs this year and is two starts removed from a four-HR outing against the Twins. Wesneski has never faced Ohtani before and we love Ohtani's pitcher's mind to give him a leg up against a hurler of Wesneski's level.
