It's time to end the week with a couple of dingers with our two-leg MLB Home Run Parlay for Sunday, July 16. Today's parlay features two players from the Yankees vs. Rockies and the Astros vs. Angels games as we compare our MLB predictions data against the sportsbook lines to try and determine where we might have an edge over the 'books. Sunday MLB Parlay Analysis

Yankees vs. Rockies, 3:10PM ET

LEG 1: Giancarlo Stanton 1+ HR (+220) with DraftKings

Stanton is in vintage form, hitting dingers in three of his last four games, including another moonshot against the Rockies last night. It's been a lean year for the Yankees slugger overall, but he has some momentum now and he is getting a dream pitching matchup against Colorado starter Chase Anderson. Stanton has been elite against Anderson in 14 previous career ABs, batting at a .429 avg with two home runs.

Astros vs. Angels, 7:10PM ET

LEG 2: Shohei Ohtani 1+ HR (+240) with DraftKings

Ohtani has gone cold as of late, and so have the Angels, who are facing a very real possibility of losing the best player in the world before the trade deadline. That was until last night when Ohatni led a ninth inning rally that would eventually see the Halos claim an extra innings victory over the Astros.

Does that set the scene for a big performance in Sunday Night Baseball? Potentially.

After a white hot June, July hasn't been so kind for the superstar, batting at just a .233 avg with only three home runs to his name. While the numbers are a little concerning, under the bright lights of primetime baseball and with some confidence back after last night, we might just see a revival of fortunes. Meeting him on the mound will be Astros starter Cristian Javier. The ace has struggled to contain Ohtani at times in previous meetings, allowing two career home runs from 13 previous ABs. It's a tempting spot for the generational talent to show the entire country once again why he's the best player on the planet.
