It's time to end the week with a couple of dingers with our two-leg MLB Home Run Parlay for Sunday, June 18. Today's parlay features two players from the Reds vs. Astros and the Angels vs. Royals games as we compare our MLB predictions data against the sportsbook lines to try and determine where we might have an edge over the 'books. Reds vs. Astros, 2:10PM ET

LEG 1: Jeremy Pena 1+ HR (+600) with DraftKings

It's been a long time since last year's World Series MVP went yard, but our model is expecting him to break his drought this afternoon against the Reds, detecting a 9.8% edge on the sportsbook odds of +600. Even though his last home run came on May 28, Pena has certainly been in good hitting form, recording a hit in five straight games, including two coming against the Reds already this weekend. Cincinnati will be sending Luke Weaver (1-2, 6.23 ERA) to the mound. Weaver is a pitcher that opposition hitters can attack, and he has been prone to giving up dingers, allowing two or more home runs in four of his 10 starts in 2023. 

Angels vs. Royals, 2:10PM ET

LEG 2: Hunter Renfroe 1+ HR (+360) with DraftKings

The Angels fumbled the bag yesterday, giving up an 8-2 lead to go down 10-9 in the 9th inning to the Royals. They'll look to pick themselves back up off the floor on Sunday, and our model is liking Hunter Renfroe to capitalize on a nice pitching match up against Zack Greinke (1-6, 4.65 ERA). Renfroe has been solid in past career meetings vs. Greinke, batting at a .304 avg with three home runs. Los Angeles will need a response, and Renfroe will be well placed to provide.
