It's time to end the week with a couple of bangs with our two-leg MLB Home Run Parlay for Sunday, May 28. Today's parlay features two players from the Mets vs. Rockies and the Astros vs. Athletics games as we compare our MLB predictions data against the sportsbook lines to try and determine where we might have an edge over the 'books. Mets vs. Rockies, 3:10PM ET

LEG 1: Francisco Alvarez 1+ HR (+550) with DraftKings

While most of the collective gambling world will be on Pete Alonso to go yard today (including our prediction model), we also see the value in Francisco Alvarez to continue to capitalize on his week of hot form. Alvarez has now logged a hit in seven consecutive games, including getting a home run last night against the Rockies. He'll get a look at starting Colorado pitcher Austin Gomber, a man who has given up at least one home run in eight of his 10 starts in 2023. Our model gives Alvarez a 28% chance of going yard.

Astros vs. Athletics, 4:07PM ET

LEG 2: Yordan Alvarez 1+ HR (+340) with DraftKings

We're making it an Alvarez double for Sunday's home run parlay, this time taking the Alvarez of Houston variety in Yordan to feast on the miserable Athletics. Alvarez hasn't had the greatest of weekends in Oakland, but faces a blessing with a relatively easy pitching matchup in Luis Medina (0-3, 6.45 ERA) taking to the mound for the A's. Medina has been a home run dispensary so far this season, allowing an average of 1.8 home runs per start. Alvarez is Houston's best slugger, and he's well placed to do it this afternoon.
