Tonight's parlay features players from the Dodgers vs. Nationals and Rockies vs. D-Backs games as we compare our MLB predictions data against the sportsbook lines to try and determine where we might have an edge over the 'books. Tuesday MLB Parlay Analysis

Rockies vs. Diamondbacks - 9:40PM EST

LEG 1: Christian Walker 1+ HR (+290) with BetMGM

We head to Arizona for our first leg, backing D-Backs' first baseman Christian Walker to go yard. Walker has eleven home runs on the year, and our model gives Walker a 28.6% probability to hit number 12 tonight. He has one of the highest max-exit velocities in the league.

He draws a pitching matchup with Rockies starter Kyle Freeland, who's been a mixed bag this season. He allowed seven home runs in April, including four straight starts and two with multiple dingers. Though Freeland has only given up one long ball in May, his metrics still show a pitcher who allows hard-hit balls. Even if Freeland doesn't give one up, Walker will face the Rockies' bullpen that's allowed 22 homers on the year.

Nationals vs. Dodgers - 10:10PM EST

LEG 2: Mookie Betts 1+ HR (+400) with BetMGM

Another guy looking for home run #12, Mookie Betts takes the second leg of our parlay. Betts has hit seven home runs in the month of May. Though he's hitting just .245 on the year, his analytics show one of the stronger all-around hitters in baseball. With a 27.5% chance to hit a home run from our model, Betts gets a 7.5% edge in the odds at BetMGM. 

He'll face Nats rookie Jake Irvin, who sports a 5.32 ERA through five starts. He's had just one clean start this year which also happened to be his only start at home for the Nationals. Struggling with his command on the road and having allowed three home runs in his last six innings, he'll give Betts more than a couple of chances to tee one off.
