Friday MLB Parlay Analysis

Rangers vs. Mariners 8:05PM ET

LEG 1: Jarred Kelenic 1+ HR (+425) with BetMGM 

Everything is bigger in Texas, including the odds on this Same Game Parlay for these two guys to go yard. We start with Jerred Kelenic, who gets a 19.8% probability to hit a home run tonight. While that's not as high as some of the other guys on the board, or even in this very game, there's another factor at play here.

Rangers starter Jon Gray toes the rubber in this one, and while Gray has been quite good this year (2.81 ERA), he's allowed eight home runs, and in just seven career at-bats against Gray, Kelenic has socked two home runs, and that's including his 0-4 outing when they faced earlier this season. Traditionally batting cleanup (4th) in the Mariners lineup, Kelenic should have at least four chances to hit a bomb tonight.

LEG 2: Corey Seager 1+ HR (+400) with BetMGM

We head to the other side of the diamond to the Rangers' dugout for our other leg. Corey Seager has the highest probability of any player in this game to hit a home run at 26.5%, which also comes with a 6.5% edge in the odds. Seager played just 13 games in May and hit four home runs. He makes consistent contact and has great power numbers.

He'll face the Mariners' Luis Castillo, who like Gray has been very good, but is still exploitable when it comes to home runs. He's allowed six home runs this year but has an expected HR of 7.5. He gave up eight hits and a homer the last time he faced this Rangers lineup and that was without Seager in for Texas.
