LEG 1: Wilmer Flores (+550) with PointsBet

Hunter Greene will be on the mound for Cincy this afternoon and he feels like a guy that home run bettors should be targeting today. While he didn't give up a home run in his last start against the Diamondbacks on August 25, which marked a recovery from giving up five of them in the game before against the Blue Jays, he still did allow 5 ER against Arizona, making it 18 ER in his last five starts. Simply put: there are going to be runs for the boys in orange today.

Leading the pack among the Giants for our model is Wilmer Flores. He comfortably leads his team in home runs this season with 19 of them. Flores has excelled taking on the fastball this season - something Greene relies on heavily - hitting 10 home runs to go along with a .302 batting avg.

Athletics vs. Mariners 4:10PM ET

LEG 2: Cal Raleigh (+260) with PointsBet

Oh boy, it is not looking pretty for the Athletics today. Not only do they have one of the worst bullpens in baseball who have allowed 69 home runs on the season, but they are wheeling out Zach Neal to start. The right hander has allowed a whopping 3.71 home runs per 9 innings so far this year in the Majors, and 2.62 per 9 in the Minors, too. 

The Mariners have been hot this month, ranking fourth in the MLB for home runs hit in August with 45. You could almost take your pick here if the pitching form lines ring true, but our model is locking in Cal Raleigh. Raleigh eats righties for breakfast, hitting 22 of his 25 season home runs against them. He's the shortest priced home run bet for this game, but with very good reason.
