Orioles vs. Blue Jays 7:10PM ET

LEG 1: Adley Rutschman (+630) with FanDuel

We start with switch-hitting HR Derby sensation Adley Rutschman to take one yard. After getting the call-up to the bigs last year, Rutschman has proven why he was such a touted prospect, and why he's the cornerstone of this young, new-look Orioles franchise. He's having a better season across the board than his rookie campaign, already surpassing last year's HR total (13) in 16 fewer at-bats. He's batting .271 and shows great plate discipline, evidenced by his 94th percentile BB%.

Working in our favor, is his solid matchup tonight as Yusei Kikuchi takes the mound for the Blue Jays. Kikuchi has been one of the most vulnerable starting pitchers this year from a home run perspective. He's given up a total of 22 homers which is near the top of the league, and at a rate of 1.81 HR/9. Rutschman also has great history against Kikuchi, with two home runs and a .273 average in 15 plate appearances. The Blue Jays' bullpen has allowed the sixth-most home runs this season with 50, so we have chances both early and late in this game.

LEG 2: Mookie Betts 1+ HR (+285) with FanDuel

For our second leg, we're making a pot of coffee and staying up late as we look to Mookie Betts in the nightcap against the Oakland Athletics. Mookie's pedigree speaks for itself; he is a power hitter to his core yet sports a strong .279 batting average. He's got 28 home runs this year, including one last night, so we're hoping he makes it back-to-back celebrations for us. His home run applicable Statcast metrics rank as high as the top 3% and no lower than the top 17% across MLB. July was a bit of a quiet month compared to the nine homers he put up in each of May and June, but he's started out August with a bang, and he gets a nice 26% chance from our model to hit one tonight.

He'll face the A's Hogan Harris who is a prospect in Oakland's organization. He has allowed six of his seven home runs to righties like Mookie, and has done so in just 56.1 innings. His HardHit% and Average Exit Velocity are in the bottom 1/4 of the league.He's given up at least one home run in five of his last seven starts. He may not go deep into this one, but that's okay because the A's bullpen has allowed 59 home runs this year, second-most in the league.

Tonight In Dodger Stadium, the wind is blowing straight out, and Mookie likes to hit his home runs to right-centerfield so we've got that backing us up for a little extra juice.
