Tuesday MLB Parlay Analysis
Rockies vs. Nationals - 7:10PM EST
LEG 1: Nolan Jones 1+ HR (+425) with DraftKings
We're starting things off with the best game for home runs on this slate. If you're playing Dinger Tuesday singles bets, this is the game to target. But for the sake of this column, we need just one guy to hit a home run and that's Rockies' outfielder Nolan Jones.
The 25-year-old has hit nine home runs this year, with eight of those coming in June and July after he made his season debut in late May. He hits most of his home runs to right field, where Nationals Park is more shallow than Coors Field; in fact, he'd have 11 home runs if he hit them all in D.C.
All four of Jones' July homers have come in the past eight games, with two in his last three. He's found himself a nice power stroke in late July and has an excellent opportunity to keep that going tonight when the Nationals send Trevor Williams to the mound. He's given up 20 home runs this year at a juicy rate of 1.8 HR/9 and has allowed at least one home run in 10 of his last 12 starts. Even better, the Nats' bullpen has given up 56 home runs, the highest in the league alongside the Oakland A's.
Tonight, DimersBOT gives Jones a 30% probability to hit a home run and that comes with a substantial 12% edge in the odds.

Cubs vs. White Sox - 8:10PM EST
LEG 2: Cody Bellinger 1+ HR (+400) with DraftKings
Tailing one of the hottest hitters in the game always seems like a good idea and that's what we're doing for our second leg. We reeeeally wanted to put Cody Bellinger in our HR Round Robin, but we've already got Luis Robert Jr. from the same game as one of our legs, so hopefully Belli can come through for us here instead.
Right now, Bellinger is on a seven-game hit streak with two home runs in his last three games. He's raised his batting average by a remarkable 42 points over the course of July and has hit seven home runs in that span as well. We're a far cry from his 47-HR MVP season in 2019, but he's on pace to post his highest total and best all-around season since then. DimersBOT gives Bellinger a 29% probability to hit a home run tonight along with an 11% edge in the odds.
He'll face the White Sox's Michael Kopech who's been another great source of home runs this year. He's given up 19 dingers this season at a rate of 1.9 HR/9, the worst mark of his career by far. This number is slightly buoyed by the five homers he gave up in his first start of the year, but he's been tagged for a home run in four-straight games, too. Chicago's bullpen has collectively allowed 47 homers this year, tied for fourth-most in MLB.
