LEG 1: Matt Olson 1+ HR (+320) with FanDuel

We start off with a home run prop to good to ignore and that's the NL HR leader (and MLB co-leader) Matt Olson of the Braves. Olson has slugged 43 home runs this year and we're getting his odds at a great price as he is often shorter than +300. He's always been a home run hitter, but he's blowing past his previous career-best mark of 39 from his final season with Oakland. You can think his improved metrics across the board for his power boost, as he's posting career marks in virtually every Statcast metric. He's in the top 1% of the entire league in HardHit % and Max Exit Velocity. 

He'll step up to the plate against Mets lefthander David Peterson who has allowed 11 homers this year at a rate of 1.37 HR/9. His most vulnerable metrics are his HardHit % and Average Exit Velocity, which happen to be some of Olson's best marks. Olson has hit most of his home runs off of righties, but he's till gone yard nine times off of southpaws and Peterson has allowed a home run in three of his last four starts. In their 13 head-to-head meetings, Olson has hit three home runs. Even more in our favor is the Mets' bullpen which has allowed the third-most homers this year with 63.

Marlins vs. Padres - 9:40PM EST

LEG 1: Jorge Soler 1+ HR (+420) with FanDuel

For our second leg, we fire up Jorge Soler in one of the late games as the Marlins take on the Padres. Soler has crushed 32 home runs this year including seven in the month of August. He's been great against both lefties (13) and righties (19) with an overall OPS of .843. He's cruising toward the second-highest mark of his career since he hit 48 back in 2019. 

Tonight he'll face a familiar foe in Michael Wacha who he's faced 22 times in his career. He's racked up an astounding four home runs with a .529 batting average. He simply dominates Wacha, who's given up eight home runs in 90.2 innings. Wacha is playing pretty well but has only made one start since July 1. Lean on Soler's history and recent form while capitalizing on a great price.
