Monday MLB Parlay Analysis
Angels vs. Braves - 7:20PM EST
LEG 1: Marcell Ozuna 1+ HR (+370) with DraftKings
We get started with a battle that features plenty of home run potential and take Marcell Ozuna to hit a home run. Ozuna is a pure home run hitter; he has 22 home runs so far this season and his Barrel % and Max Exit Velo are in the 94th percentile or higher in the league. He can hit them to both side of the park though he favors left field despite its slightly longer dimensions in Truist Park. He's on a home run tear with one in three straight, for a total of four in that span.
He was due to bat against the Angels' Griffin Canning, who is a prime home run target, but he's been scratched in favor of Chase Silseth who has been used in limited work this season as he's bounced back and forth from the bigs to the minors. He's allowed four home runs through his 24.1 innings of work with the Angels. It's possible he pitches just a few innings to open the game but that's okay, because the Angels are a bottom-ten bullpen in terms of home runs allowed, so we have opportunities to collect one late.

Guardians vs. Astros - 8:10PM EST
LEG 1: Alex Bregman 1+ HR (+500) with DraftKings
To finish us off, we're tasking Astros vet Alex Bregman to clobber one in his home park. Breggy is hot right now, hitting six of his 18 home runs this season in the past 15 days, including a stretch where he hit one three nights in a row. After an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, he's picked up his home run pace in each successive month. He smacks all of his home runs to a nice left field cluster, which just so happens to be Minute Maid Park's shortest porch in a generally hitter-friendly stadium. Bregman has hit 14 of his home runs off of righties, and he gets a great matchup with one tonight.
Noah Syndergaard makes his debut for the Guardians of Cleveland. The once Mighty Thor has struggled with injuries and performance since his peak days as a Met and will now have pitched for his fourth team since the start of the 2022 season. He's mustered just 55.1 innings through 12 starts and has given up 12 homers this season, including his last three starts before he hit the injured list. He's set to be reinstated from the IL for tonight's start so he's a great target for Bregman who will be looking to stay hot as the Astros chase control in the AL West.
