Grizzlies vs. Trail Blazers NBA Betting Preview, Picks and Odds - Wednesday, November 2

The Portland Trail Blazers are off to a scorching hot start, but they're hosting a Memphis Grizzlies team that is hungry for a win on Wednesday, November 2. Memphis is coming off of back-to-back losses to the Utah Jazz, and that means that Taylor Jenkins' squad can actually use a victory pretty badly here. While it's very early in the season, this group doesn't want to see Portland go too far ahead in the Western Conference standings.

Here is Dimers' free betting preview of Grizzlies vs. Blazers, plus our picks, score prediction, best odds and player props are featured in this article.

Grizzlies vs. Blazers Betting Preview

The Grizzlies are a very competitive group and they are going to be furious that they let two games get away from a Jazz team that is supposed to be rebuilding — even if Utah has looked excellent this season. Now, Memphis will go and face a Portland team that has overachieved a bit early in the year. But it'll be interesting to see if the Grizzlies can deal the Blazers a loss in a tough road environment.

Memphis has responded very well to bad losses since Jenkins became the team's head coach. The Grizzlies are 25-9 against the spread when coming off a road loss by 10 or more points since he took over, and they have won those games by an average of 5.0 points per game. Also, while Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons give the Blazers an advantage in the backcourt almost nearly everybody, they won't have one against Ja Morant and Desmond Bane.

The Grizzlies are also a much deeper team and play better basketball than their opponent in this game overall. That should help Memphis overcome a tough Portland home-court advantage.
