Free Soccer Picks and Predictions – European Leagues, Week Ending Sunday November 7
Prospector Sam is here with your free soccer picks for this weekend's European soccer action.
Well, I was betrayed by a fucking plant. And no, it wasn’t tainted produce or eating those colorful mushrooms that lead you to licking tree stumps and discovering the meaning to life (not that I’d know anything about that…), it was a bunch of stupid Basel. Last week I declared my commitment to win all of my international bets all of the time (again, an obviously attainable goal), and I was one stupid 96th minute meltdown away from doing it. Instead, Basel conceded right at the death to Zurich for a 3-3 draw and I finished the week a measly 2-1 (my sincere apologies for only being profitable and not perfect, as promised). But hey, if there’s one thing to take away from this, it’s the lesson that every five year old picks up when their parents force them to eat brussel sprouts or some other weird “healthy food”; vegetables are awful and you should never consume them. With that, I’m making a commitment to follow a meat and candy only diet to ensure that I keep myself at peak performance for all of you (if you don’t hear from me for a couple days, just assume I’ve died from a lack of necessary vitamins).

Free Bundesliga Picks For Week 11, 2021-22
Bochum vs. Hoffenheim, Sat Nov 6, 10:30am (ET)
If it ain’t broke…. Yeah, I know, with the plethora of games to pick from in European soccer it seems a bit silly to bet on the same unimportant German team to win two weeks in a row, especially when I’m only making 3 bets a week here. But fuck it, the money’s right where the money’s right, and this line is all sorts of messed up. Last week, we saw Hoffenheim come out and comfortably handle a mediocre opponent at -135, and it helped build some solid bankroll for us. This week, they face a Bochum side with 8 goals scored through 10 games and a -10 GD, and Hoffenheim are at *double checks notes* -115? Sure, this game is at Bochum but that’s hardly an impenetrable fortress to conquer (Hertha Berlin, who Hoffenheim just beat, won 3-1 there this season, for example). Hoffenheim are the better team overall, and if they can put in more than a goal they’re almost guaranteed to win this game, which is a huge benefit for a team averaging about 2 per game. I see them as a comfortable favorite to win here, and -115 on the Money Line is a pretty generous number in my opinion. Lets ride Hoffenheim into the sunset like Butch Cassidy and grab another bankroll builder (I admit, Western Americana references and German soccer aren't exactly a perfect pair, but this ain’t Pulitzer level writing).
⛏️ PICK: Hoffenheim at the moneyline (-115)
Free Ligue One Picks For Week 13, 2021-22
Marseille vs. Metz, Sun Nov 7, 7:00am (ET)
Much like our very own American Mets, the French Mets (aka “Metz”) are absolutely horrible. They sit in 19th place in Ligue 1 and have given up an astounding 27 goals in 12 games, which does not create optimism for their prospects against 3rd place Marseille. As you might be able to deduce without me, there isn’t a hell of a lot of value on Marseille to win this match, but there is value in the team total for the home side. While Marseille are in a bit of a dry spell in terms of scoring, the rain always returns eventually and there’s no likelier candidate for it to happen against than the team with the worst defensive record in the League. We’re getting a bit risky on this one, so don’t go betting your life savings on it (steal your friends and bet his, obviously), but there’s value to be had in over 2.5 team goals. Marseille only average about 2 per game, which doesn’t suggest they’re going to rip off a big number on any given match, but that’s the point; this isn’t an average opponent, and the odds should be lower for them to score big on Sunday than they currently are. At almost a 2:1 payout on Marseille to hit a few dingers here (to continue my weak baseball analogy), we’re getting a good price for our money and I’m willing to go further out on the ledge than normal for it.
⛏️ PICK: Marseille team total OVER 2.5 (+190)
Free Serie A Picks For Week 12, 2021-22
AC Milan vs. Inter Milan, Sun Nov 7, 2:45pm (ET)
And now, time to work on my gymnastics skills and perform a 180. And by that, I mean turn into a wuss and take a safe bet rather than going balls to the wall. As soon as I saw the line on this game I knew I’d be betting AC Milan, I just needed to decide how. And, while the +200 ML at home for them is tempting as hell, I’m going to restrain myself and stick with the Double Chance which is sitting around -165. AC Milan have had a better season than their cross-town rivals and are 7 points ahead through 7 games, which makes it a bit of a head scratcher that the away side are favored. Sure, Inter have a slightly better squad but they lost their top goalscorer and head coach from their title-winning campaign last season and, understandably, have not looked like the same side. In my opinion, this game is about a coin flip, and getting AC Milan at this high of a payout is kind of crazy. That said, I just can’t give up the draw. These teams are fairly even in terms of quality and, in an important rivalry game that has big implications for the season moving forward, there’s always a chance that teams will play with extra caution this early in the season. I want to pull the trigger on the high payout, but the odds of this game ending as a stalemate are too high in my mind to go for it. If either of these teams win I think it will be AC, but I can’t get comfortable with the extra risk. Build some bankroll and take AC Milan Double chance at -165.
⛏️ PICK: AC Milan Double Chance (-165)
