Free Soccer Picks and Predictions – European Leagues, Week Ending Sunday November 21
Prospector Sam is here with your free soccer picks for this weekend's European soccer action.
As I write these international articles, I’m often reminded of the fact that I have very little practical knowledge about the places I bet on (supposedly, there’s more to them than just their soccer teams). I’ve been to almost none of these countries and can’t speak a lick of any of their native tongues, so most of my information comes from fringe sporting competitions and vague memories of middle school history. But, rather than bury my head in the sand or walk away because it’s too difficult, I’ve decided to make an effort to slip some learning into my daily routine with the help of google translate. New things can be fun too, so I’m told, and I figure it can’t hurt to class myself up with some worldly expertise. In line with that, I figured I’d start by providing translations for “gold digger” so that all of you can properly inform the world of your sworn allegiance to me!
- Spanish - Buscador de Oro
- Italian - Cercatore d’oro
- Danish - Guld Graver
- German - GoldGraber
- Slovak: Zlatokop
So next time you stop by Italy, Germany, Slovakia or anywhere else (I refrained from trying to add in languages with unique letters and characters, but feel free to look for yourself) make sure to tell everyone you know that you’re a Guld Graver or whatever the relevant term is. I’m sure it will go extremely well and nobody will be confused.

Free La Liga Picks For Week 14, 2021-22
Levante vs, Athletic Club, Fri Nov 19, 3:00pm (ET)
This pick can be summed up in one simple sentence: Levante are as likely to win a game right now as a hippo is to win a marathon (why is a hippo running a marathon? I don’t know, but don’t fight the analogy). The home side are still winless through 13 matches, and this tie doesn’t seem likely to buck that trend. Bilbao have the second best defensive record in the league, and Levante are going to struggle to score at all in this one (in fact, I’m confident they don’t manage to), which means we only need a single goal to reach the promised land. While Bilbao’s major problem this season has been finding the back of the net, which is why they sit in 8th place, a date with Levante and their 2 goals conceded per game (which is MASSIVE in La Liga these days) is just the remedy for that ailment. Bilbao are the better side and are likely to win this game based on the form of Levante, and at +125 for the Money Line I think the value is solid for this bet. The visitors take all 3 points here.
⛏️ PICK: Bilbao at the moneyline (+125)
Free Bundesliga Picks For Week 12, 2021-22
Arminia Bielefeld vs. Wolfsburg, Sat Nov 20, 9:30am (ET)
Wolfsburg are a mathematical anomaly. This team had a 0 GD and only 12 goals scored through 11 games, but somehow sit in 4th place despite the fact that 4 teams have better differentials than them. It’s basically a miracle that they’ve managed to pull 19 points out of those 11 games, and I’m confident they won’t keep their spot in the table at their current goal scoring pace. However, despite all that bloviating, I like them a lot to win this game. Arminia have had a rough year to say the least, and their record is bad enough that you can confidently expect them to lose this match even with Wolfsburg’s struggles. The home side sit in 17th with just 7 goals scored in 11 matches, and it’s hard to see how they keep pace with a team that’s competitive in its Champions League Group. In fact, games like this may be just what Wolfsburg need to get things on track, and we’re getting in at a good time for value with a -110 money line payout, considering the 13 place gap between these two in the table. Wolfsburg are by far the more talented side, and they’re more likely than not to win this match. At standard odds for our money, I think we’re getting a great price on a strong bet.
⛏️ PICK: Wolfsburg at the moneyline (-110)
Free Ligue One Picks For Week 13, 2021-22
PSG vs. Nantes, Sat Nov 20, 11:00am (ET)
Every once in a while I bounce back to our old friends at PSG (not actually friends, I hate them, but it sounded nicer this way) to lock in a team total bet that has a good payout when the odds get high enough. And, much to my surprise, the home side are +106 to score over 2.5 goals, which is an early Christmas gift for all the good little boys and girls lucky enough to make the nice list (aka, read my articles). PSG average over 2 per game on the season, which means you can expect at least that many to find the back of the net, if not more against weaker opposition. While Nantes have improved this year by riding a better back line than they’ve had in the past, this is still a side who finished 18th in the League last season and are going to be outclassed in basically every way (including jerseys. Green and yellow makes you look like a blurry fruit roll up when you run, do better). With home field advantage as well, I expect PSG to steamroll their opponent and over 2.5 is extremely doable so long as they manage to break Nates down early and open up the match. I expect they do just that, and I love the bet with a positive payout.
⛏️ PICK: PSG team total OVER 2.5 (+106)
Free Danish SuperLiga Picks For Week 16, 2021-22
Copenhagen vs. Aarhus, Sun Nov 21, 10:00am (ET)
I’m pretty much just wasting my breath on Copenhagen at this point, but I need to at least say something here to show all of you I’m not some lunatic making blind picks (I may be a lunatic, but the picks are strong). I keep betting this team to win games because the lines are too low, and somehow they never get adjusted (probably because nobody is making big bets on Danish soccer). Copenhagen are in second place with a massive positive goal differential, and their major slip ups tend to come from tired legs after travel across Europe for the Conference League. With a 2 week break due to the International slate, the home side will be rested and prepared for 7th place Aaurhus, who lost 3-1 in the reverse fixture at their own stadium. Copenhagen are a very comfortable bet to win this, and at -155 it’s a massive mistake by the books to be giving us this kind of payout. The home side are closer to -250 in my eyes, and I’ll gladly lock in a ton of extra value on this play.
⛏️ PICK: Copenhagen at the moneyline (-155)
