Free NBA Picks For Saturday November 13, 2021

Heat vs. Jazz, 5:00PM (ET)

BET: Heat +7.5 (Best odds -115)

The Heat are going through it on this West Coast road trip with two agonizing losses at Staples on Wednesday and Thursday while losing one of their stars in Jimmy Butler to an ankle injury. Butler's status is still in question for tonight's tilt against Utah, but the Heat still match up well across the floor against the Jazz for this spread to be the size it is. Although these are two defensive powerhouses, when the two teams met last week it resulted in a shootout with Miami coming out as victors. They should cover this one.

Grizzlies vs. Pelicans, 7:00PM (ET)

BET: Grizzlies -2.5 (Best odds -110)

Brandon Ingram is a possible return for the Pelicans who sit 1-12 and are clearly the worst team in basketball as it stands, but will it be enough for them to cover this line against a blossoming Ja Morant and the Grizzlies? We don't think so. The Pelicans are back up after a tough game against the Nets last night and struggle to score on the second night of a back-to-back set, with the under going 6-1 in their last seven where they're playing off no rest. Memphis simply must put the Pels to the sword here.

Celtics vs. Cavs, 8:00PM (ET)

BET: Cavs +2.5 (Best odds -110)

I am officially declaring myself as a Cleveland believer. They look good to start the season with an 8-5 win/loss record, but an even better 10-3 record at the spread. Boston have been building, also, going 5-0 at the spread over their last five games, including a morale-boosting win over the reigning champion Bucks last night, but it's the Cavs that our projections is siding with for this game with an extra night of rest and at home.
