Everton vs. West Ham - Pick of the Day

Sunday, September 18, 2022 - 9:15AM ET

Two horrific sides in free fall (a reference back to Leicester for Saturday’s pick), are West Ham and Everton. These two sit 18th and 16th respectively, and both are staring at a real chance of getting into the relegation scrap if they don’t get their shit together real fast. I’m skeptical, but it’s possible they both can do it.

Unfortunately for them, current form doesn’t give me a heck of a lot of confidence in either of these sides right now, and their statistics this year back that sentiment with the two clubs having scored just 7 total goals in 6 matches. Basically, you should be wary and I wont be putting my money on either of them confidently in the near future.

There must be a pick though, right? Yes, my dear friend, there is, and it perfectly embodies my lack of trust: No on Both Teams to Score at -102. These two are so bad that one is probably bound to find a way to put a goal or two in, but expecting both of them to get it together and score seems questionable and this game has every indication of being an awful one to watch.

I could see a low scoring match, or one team getting ahead and crushing the soul of the other while they beg for mercy as the game draws out (probably West Ham, Moyes doesn’t strike me as much of a fighter). It’s not a bet I go to often, but there isn’t much attacking class here and once one side finds the net the other is going to have a VERY tough time breaking down a team that puts men behind the ball.

Don’t watch this match, but throw some money down and grab the profit after.

PICK: Both Team To Score NO (-102 at Caesars, 1.25 units)
