Week 11 English Premier League Best Bets
Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace: Best Bet
Kickoff: Saturday, October 15 - 7:30AM ET
Leicester City sit rock bottom of the Premier League with just one win in nine this season. There’s a school of thought that perhaps Brendan Rodgers would have been sacked if the club could afford it and it’s not hard to see why, there isn’t a club in the Premier League who have given up more goals than Leicester with 24 allowed.
Despite conceding a lot of goals they haven’t struggled going forward, scoring 15, that’s 50% more than the other two teams in the relegation zone combined. In fact only six clubs have scored more than them. The Over 2.5 goals mark has been exceeded in all but one of their games this season. Back the Over again here.
Bet: Over 2.5 Goals (-120)
Fulham vs. Bournemouth: Best Bet
Kickoff: Saturday, October 15 - 10:00AM ET
Joao Palhinha might just be the best signing in the Premier League this season who isn’t named Erling Haaland. The Portuguese midfielder arrived from Sporting with some doubters but he’s been integral to Fulham’s great start.
He’s tall, rangy and has contributed two goals along with the brilliant work that he’s done in breaking up play and stopping opposition attacks. One problem that the 27-year old has found is that his love of tackling, and often going to ground, has made him a yellow card machine. So far in eight games played he’s had five yellow cards and has already served a suspension for his poor disciplinary record.
The +375 on him to find his name in the book look hugely generous given that he’s been booked in 62.5% of the Premier League games that he’s played.
Bet: Palhinha to get booked (+375)
Wolves vs. Nottingham Forest: Best Bet
Kickoff: Saturday, October 15 - 10:00PM ET
There’s a lot of brilliant games to look forward to in the Premier League this week but in truth Wolves vs. Nottingham Forest isn’t one of them, despite it being arguably one of the most important games.
Both Wolves and Forest find themselves in the relegation zone and a win for either club here would be a huge boost in their bids for survival. All of that should make this a must-watch game but the reality is that it’s likely to be a hard watch. These two teams have been involved in some of the most boring games so far this season, but that means we have a high chance of Under 2.5 goals landing.
Nottingham Forest have seen Under 2.5 goals in 55.6% of their games in the Premier League this season, while the home side has seen Under 2.5 goals in 66.7% of their games, a figure that rises to 75% when playing at Molineux. Back this game to be another low-scoring, boring game. Just make sure you don’t bother watching it.
Bet: Under 2.5 Goals (-125)
