Are you looking for another way to get in on the football gaming action this season, but not interested in trying to "beat the books?"

Look no further than one of DraftKings' latest offerings, Pick6 where new users looking to capitalize on this growing player in the fantasy contest space can secure $50 in credits by playing their first $5.

DraftKings Pick6 is a peer-to-peer Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) contest where participants create lineups of 2 to 6 athletes and predict whether they'll exceed specific statistical projections during real-world events.

The goal is to make more correct picks than other participants in the contest, with winning entries sharing in the prize pool. Players can track their picks live on desktop or mobile devices and compete for cash prizes based on their accuracy.

All Pick6 contests are $1 entry contests. Each $1 represents a single entry into a contest and each entry is competing for a share of the contest's total prizes. For example, $10 in entry fees is equal to 10 entries for your selected Pick Set.

Pick6 contest entries are scored based on the number of correct picks selections made by the participants. A portion of the total prize pool for each contest is pre-assigned to entries with a certain number of correct picks. Winning entries receive an even share of the prizes as described in each contest’s prize table. The fewer total winning entries in a contest, the larger the prize for each winning entry.

Dimers' Picks For Your DraftKings Pick6 Contests in Monday Night Football Week 8

You can create entries for DraftKings Pick using 2-6 players. We've hit the sweet spot right in the middle with our four recommendations for today's game.

Pick 1: Pat Freiermuth 28.5 Receiving Yards MORE

The Steelers TE is coming off his most efficient game yet with 51 yards on just two catches. He's a safety net for Russell Wilson who will be making his second start as a Steeler and "Muth" gets a 38 yard projection from our model.

Pick 2: Wan'Dale Robinson 34.5 Receiving Yards: MORE

The analytics will tell you that Wan'Dale Robinson is not a great receiver but the Giants have to throw the ball to someone other than Malik Nabers and with a 49-yard projection compared to his 34.5 yard line, this is a strong play on a mark he's cleared five times.

Pick 3: Najee Harris 63.5 Rushing Yards: LESS

The only fade in this entry, Najee Harris is having a productive year but our model is going low on his projection in Week 8 with just a 52-yard output, though his TD probability is a strong 40%.

Pick 4: Daniel Jones 199.5 Passing Yards: MORE

The Giants mobile QB has had big-time passing volume this year, leading to four-straight games of 200+ yards before going way under last week. We're projecting him for a more balanced day, with 206 passing yards against the Steelers.

Rules, Scoring and Prizes

Please see the below excerpt from DraftKings' Pick6 Contest Rules:

Pick6 contest entries are scored based on the number of correct picks selections made by the participants. A portion of the total prize pool for each contest is pre-assigned to entries with a certain number of correct picks. Winning entries receive an even share of the prizes as described in each contest’s prize table. The fewer total winning entries in a contest, the larger the prize for each winning entry.

For example, a 5-Pick NFL contest with a $10,000 total prize pool may have the following prize structure:

  • 5/5 Correct Splits $8,000
  • 4/5 Correct Splits $2,000

In this example, if the contest ended with 320 entries having 5/5 correct, each entry would win $25 ($8,000 / 320 = $25). If you had 2 entries in the contest among the 320 winning entries, your total prizes for that contest would be $50 ($25 x 2 = $50).

Note that this is just one example and not a guarantee of any contest payout. Read DraftKings' full breakdown of their rules, scoring and prize payouts here.
