Texans WR Nico Collins.
Texans WR Nico Collins is projected for a big day in Week 5.

Are you looking for another way to get in on the football gaming action this season, but not interested in trying to "beat the books?"

Look no further than one of DraftKings' latest offerings, Pick6 where new users looking to capitalize on this growing player in the fantasy contest space can secure $50 in credits and one month of NFL RedZone by playing their first $5.

DraftKings Pick6 is a peer-to-peer Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) contest where participants create lineups of 2 to 6 athletes and predict whether they'll exceed specific statistical projections during real-world events.

The goal is to make more correct picks than other participants in the contest, with winning entries sharing in the prize pool. Players can track their picks live on desktop or mobile devices and compete for cash prizes based on their accuracy.

All Pick6 contests are $1 entry contests. Each $1 represents a single entry into a contest and each entry is competing for a share of the contest's total prizes. For example, $10 in entry fees is equal to 10 entries for your selected Pick Set.

Pick6 contest entries are scored based on the number of correct picks selections made by the participants. A portion of the total prize pool for each contest is pre-assigned to entries with a certain number of correct picks. Winning entries receive an even share of the prizes as described in each contest’s prize table. The fewer total winning entries in a contest, the larger the prize for each winning entry.

Dimers' Picks For Your DraftKings Pick6 Contests in NFL Week 5

You can create entries for DraftKings Pick using 2-6 players. We've hit the sweet spot right in the middle with our four recommendations for today's game.

Pick 1: Lamar Jackson 208.4 Passing Yards: MORE

The DimersBOT projects the Ravens star QB to toss the rock with ease on Sunday, eclipsing this mark with our model's projection of 229 passing yards. He hit this mark in Weeks 1+2 but has missed in the past two games.

Pick 2: De'Von Achane 47.5 Rushing Yards: MORE

While the Dolphins offense has sputtered without Tua Tagovailoa under center, our model projects a strong day for the Fins' RB in Week 5 vs. the Patriots, projecting him well over this marl with 71 rushing yards.

Pick 3: Nico Collins 79.5 Receiving Yards: MORE

The top passcatcher in the Texans' usually high-powered offense, Nico Collins draws a projection of 93 receiving yards vs. the Bills on Sunday and he's cleared this mark in all four games so far.

Pick 4: Brian Robinson 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs: MORE

The Commanders RB is listed as questionable but expected to suit up for Week 5 vs. the Browns. He's picked up a TD in 3/4 games this year, and our model projects him with a 45.8% Anytime TD probability.

Rules, Scoring and Prizes

Please see the below excerpt from DraftKings' Pick6 Contest Rules:

Pick6 contest entries are scored based on the number of correct picks selections made by the participants. A portion of the total prize pool for each contest is pre-assigned to entries with a certain number of correct picks. Winning entries receive an even share of the prizes as described in each contest’s prize table. The fewer total winning entries in a contest, the larger the prize for each winning entry.

For example, a 5-Pick NFL contest with a $10,000 total prize pool may have the following prize structure:

  • 5/5 Correct Splits $8,000
  • 4/5 Correct Splits $2,000

In this example, if the contest ended with 320 entries having 5/5 correct, each entry would win $25 ($8,000 / 320 = $25). If you had 2 entries in the contest among the 320 winning entries, your total prizes for that contest would be $50 ($25 x 2 = $50).

Note that this is just one example and not a guarantee of any contest payout. Read DraftKings' full breakdown of their rules, scoring and prize payouts here.
