Friday: Rickea Jackson (+1400)
The hot streak started on Friday night in the Los Angeles Sparks vs. Minnesota Lynx game. DimersBOT identified Sparks rookie Rickea Jackson with a 10.0% probability of scoring first. That was our model's fifth-highest in this game, but that's not what made the play so valuable.
Her 10% probability meant she should only have been priced at +900, seeing a massive difference of +500 in the odds. It didn't take long for Jackson to cash, getting up the first shot and sinking it just 19 seconds into the game.

Saturday: Brionna Jones (+700)
Next up was the second-leading scorer for the Connecticut Sun, veteran Brionna Jones to sink the first bucket in the afternoon game between the Sun and Dallas Wings.
Jones was identified with a 15.2% probability to score first, making her fair odds closer to +550. Not quite the same difference we saw with Rickea Jackson, but significant nonetheless. Jones also made light work of her prop, cashing with the first shot of the game. Jones was our most-likely scorer in this game, and the second-highest of the day behind only A'Ja Wilson at 16.9%. Sunday: Kamilla Cardoso (+950)
We couldn't possibly hit three days in a row, right? Wrong! The BOT stayed HOT with its Sunday pick of Chicago Sky rookie Kamilla Cardoso to sink the first shot against the Indiana Fever. Cardoso drew an 11% probability to score first, making her fair odds +800.
Now, this one was a sweat if you were watching live. Just look at the play-by-play to start the game:
Cardoso won the tip and then took the first three shots of the game and it went block, get her own rebound, miss, get her own rebound, before finally sinking her third attempt and cashing in at +950. A win is a win!

Monday: Kayla McBride (+1000)
DimersBOT wasn't done after the weekend. We had just one WNBA game on tap on Monday night, featuring the Dallas Wings visiting the Minnesota Lynx. 10-year veteran Kayla McBride was our model's top pick of the game, getting a 10.9% probability to score first and a little 1.8% edge against her odds of +1000.
McBride followed up the BOT's three previous hits by draining a game-opening three-pointer sixteen seconds into the game. Whole McBride had a lower probability than our other picks in this game (Ogunbowale and Collier), she had the best value (edge).

Also Monday: Jrue Holiday (+1100)
Not to be outdone by our WNBA model as it takes the controls for the summer, our NBA First basket model had one last winner for us, cashing at +1100 with Jrue Holiday scoring the first basket in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
We identified Holiday with a 9/1% probability of scoring first making his far odds at +1000. A small edge, but a +100 difference is nothing to scoff at, and it paid dividends with Holiday shooting and scoring the first shot attempt of the game. Read the analysis here.
