The red-hot Cowboys head to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles to take on the Rams, who are seeking their first win against a team with a winning record this season. With the future of Cowboys' quarterback position up in the air, Matthew Stafford will have a chance to bounce back from a poor performance last week and get back on the right track.

Find out how we think this one will play out in our Cowboys vs. Rams betting preview below.

Cowboys vs. Rams Odds and Betting Lines

The Points Spread (Rams -5.5)

The much-maligned Rams offensive line must attempt to bounce back on short rest after allowing seven sacks to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. It wasn't just Niners' superstar Nick Bosa doing the damage either - six different Niners pass rushers brought Matthew Stafford down.

This doesn't bode well for the Rams' chances against the Cowboys - who rank second in the NFL in total sacks on the season, recording two or more in all four games thus far. Dallas has embraced a more defensive style of football in three weeks without star quarterback Dak Prescott, and it has led to success both on the scoreboard and against the spread. The Cowboys are 3-0 ATS in the last three weeks.

It remains to be seen if Prescott will return this week or if Cooper Rush will get one more game as the starter. Either way, Dallas should be prepared to make this a game.

While the Rams have the higher ceiling come playoff time, right now the Cowboys have looked like the better football team. We expect the Dallas pass rush to have a field day, and help the Cowboys cover +5.5.

Over/Under Points Total (43.5)

It should come as no surprise given our reasoning for playing Dallas +5.5, but the Under appears to have some value here as well. The Under is 3-1 in both the Rams' and Cowboys' seasons so far. Whether or not Prescott returns, we expect Dallas' conservative game plan to continue for at least one more week.

With Stafford's form as of late and the Cowboys' offensive questions persisting, we predict a defensive-minded football game to ensue. The DimersBOT agrees, giving the Under 43.5 a 52% chance to hit.

Cowboys vs. Rams Free Picks

Best Bet: Cowboys +5.5

Why not keep a good thing going? The Cowboys' winning ways have been rolling for three straight weeks, both in the standings and against the spread. We like the chances that the trend continues against the Rams, for at least one more week.

We strongly suggest taking this with the FanDuel risk-free bet of up to $1,000 offer mentioned at the top of this article because, even if the Cowboys don't cover, you'll still have plenty to work with in order to bet more games. You can claim it ➡️ here ⬅️.
