After the greatest set of College Football Playoff semi-final games in the history of the format, the TCU Horned Frogs will take on the Georgia Bulldogs at 7:30PM ET on Monday, January 9 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles to determine who will be the national champion. Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs will be looking to win their second championship in a row, while Sonny Dykes' Horned Frogs are looking to shock the world in his first season as the head coach of the program. Spread Analysis (Georgia -13.5)

Both of these programs are coming off of classic semi-final games. TCU earned a 51-45 win over a previously unbeaten Michigan Wolverines team in the Fiesta Bowl, while Georgia erased two 14-point deficits to come from behind and earn a 42-41 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Peach Bowl.

Now, these two teams will meet with a national championship on the line, and Georgia is a massive favorite in this game. But should the Bulldogs be laying this many points? We lean towards saying no. 

At times, Georgia looked absolute unbeatable this season. However, Ohio State showed that it's possible to move the ball on this defense, and Dykes is one of the brightest offensive minds in football — and the same can be said for coordinator Garrett Riley, who is Lincoln's brother.

Those two should be able to put together a plan that gives quarterback Max Duggan a good chance at comfortably making plays in the passing game. And Duggan can also use his legs when things break down. 

As long as the Horned Frogs can keep pace with the Bulldogs on offense, it's just hard to see this game being decided by this many points. Sure, whether or not TCU's 3-3-5 defense can withstand Georgia's physicality is a major question mark here, but that was also a talking point against Michigan.

But the Horned Frogs held up well from a physicality standpoint, and they got to the Wolverines behind the line of scrimmage rather often. With that said, it wouldn't be shocking if they were to make more plays than expected against the Bulldogs. 

It also can't be understated that TCU is a true underdog in this College Football Playoff, which is something we might not have again. Absolutely nobody believed in this team all year, but the Horned Frogs are one win away from the ultimate prize. That means that they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. But the Bulldogs have the weight of the world on their shoulders. 

We also want to point out that Georgia is just 1-3 against the spread when coming off a win by three or fewer points under Smart. It'll be interesting to see how the Bulldogs respond to being in such an emotional battle, but we know what to expect out of the Horned Frogs. They played multiple close games this year and always showed up ready the following week.

Total Analysis (Over/Under 61.5) 

Ohio State and Georgia combined to score 83 points in their semi-final matchup, while TCU and Michigan combined to score 96. It's hard to expect exactly that two games in a row — especially with this game featuring a little more nerves, in addition to a little extra adrenaline for the defenses — but the Over certainly looks like the better play here. This season, the Horned Frogs were tied for third in the country in points per game (41.1), while the Bulldogs were ninth in the nation (39.4). These are two elite offensive teams. 

The Over is also 4-2 in the six games that TCU has played against teams with winning percentages of 75.0% or higher this season. On top of that, it's 3-1 in the games the Horned Frogs have played against opponents outside the Big 12.

You watched these teams play last weekend and it was nothing but big plays from the two offenses. This one might not be as high scoring as each of the two semi-final matchups, but it's hard to see it not being another shootout.
