Celtics vs. Cavaliers Betting Preview
The Celtics will be looking for revenge when these two teams take the floor on Wednesday, as the Cavaliers earned a 132-123 win as a 7-point road underdog in Boston on October 28. That was a huge win for a Cleveland team that looks great on paper but is eager to show the world that it is a legitimate contender in the Eastern Conference this year.
This is, however, the second time that the Celtics will get to see the Cavaliers without Darius Garland. With that said, they'll know a bit more about how Cleveland will approach this game than they did in the first meeting, and that means that this could be a little bit closer — and potentially go Boston's way — this time around.
The Cavaliers do have a massive advantage in the frontcourt though, as the Celtics are a little weak on the inside and Cleveland has guys like Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Kevin Love to beat up on Boston's bigs. But that mismatch in favor of the Cavaliers in the frontcourt is given back a bit on the wing, where Cleveland doesn't come close to matching Boston's duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
