The 9-leg parlay:
- Payton Pritchard 25+ Points
- Payton Pritchard 5+ Rebounds
- Payton Pritchard 8+ Assists
- Sam Hauser 20+ Points
- Sam Hauser 5+ Rebounds
- Mike Muscala 10+ Points
- Mike Muscala 8+ Rebounds
- Blake Griffin 1+ Three-Pointers Made
Note: This parlay also included Aaron Nesmith Over 3.5 Rebounds from the Pacers-Knicks game, which also hit.
With the playoff picture set for many of the top squads in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics were one of several teams to rest key starters. They deployed a secondary unit featuring the likes of Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, Blake Griffin and Mike Muscala, all of whom played a key role in securing the payday.
Unlikely hero - Blake Griffin’s deep ball
Cashing a nearly $50,000 payout on a lunch money parlay is the sports bettor’s dream and we all know sweating out a parlay or single bet late into a game is a big part of the entertainment factor when it comes to sports betting. We also love when our plays cash sweat-free, because there’s not much better than an early hit and some quick cash. Blake Griffin managed to do his duty to the parlay and take care of his lone leg early a mere 39 seconds into the game, and that’s not even the crazy part.
Dating back to the All-Star Break in February, Blake Griffin had attempted 16 total three-pointers before Sunday’s game against the Hawks, hitting just three of them. Only 39 seconds into Sunday’s contest, Griffin hit a 27-footer to cash his leg and get the job done for this bettor. Even more satisfying? Blake Griffin checked out of the game four minutes later and did not return to the floor again. Talk about making the most of an opportunity.
The rest of the reserves come in clutch
Payton Pritchard made things look easy; the Celtics’ point guard played 46 minutes en route to hitting nine threes, 14 rebounds and 11 assists, all season-highs.
Sam Hauser and Mike Muscala were a bit of a sweat, each hitting their rebounds on the exact mark. Though Muscala had his secured before the final twelve minutes, Hauser picked up his last board in the middle of the fourth quarter, meaning all this bettor had to do was wait until the final whistle to collect his massive payday.
