College Basketball Best Bets for Wednesday, February 8

Creighton Bluejays vs. Seton Hall Pirates - 6:30PM ET

Creighton has inched closer to the team that was lauded with preseason praise earlier this year over the course of the last month. Since January 1, Creighton has been the 4th best team in the country according to barttorvik.com, and for context, that's better than the #1-ranked Purdue Boilermakers. Seton Hall has really struggled against elite teams this year, going just 1-7 in games against top 40 opponents. Creighton beat Seton Hall by 22 points in their one previous matchup, and home court isn't worth that much of a gap.

BET: Creighton -4 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Michigan Wolverines vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers - 6:30PM ET

Stop me if you have heard this before, but the Wolverines are slowly turning a corner and keeping their season on life support. We saw Hunter Dickinson lead the charge in this exact situation last season and save the day. More importantly for tonight, Nebraska is incapable of stringing two consecutive quality performances together, and coming off their win against Penn State, we expect them to lay an egg tonight. In the four previous Big Ten games Nebraska has played after a win, they are 0-4 with an average margin of defeat by 18 points per game.

BET: Michigan 11.5 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Wisconsin Badgers - 8:30PM ET

Speaking of Penn State, it has been night and day for the Nittany Lions depending on if they are at home or on the road. Penn State has won seven consecutive games at home, with an average margin of victory by 16 points per game. Wisconsin has been a horrible basketball team for an extended stretch, losing seven of their last nine games, with their two wins in that span coming by a combined eight points total. Penn State needs this one to revitalize their tournament chances, and we like them to get it.

BET: Penn State -4.5 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
