College Basketball Best Bets for Wednesday, February 1

Purdue Boilermakers vs. Penn State Nittany Lions - 6:30PM ET

Purdue is the #1 team in the country for a reason, and while there may be some concerns that Purdue could be looking ahead to Indiana this weekend, they are too well-rounded and too well-coached for that to be a concern against this Penn State team. Over the last month, the Nittany Lions have alternated wins and losses every game, and following their blowout win against Michigan, this is a good spot to fade Penn State. Purdue has covered 10.5 in eight of their 11 games at home. Penn State on the other hand has lost their last three conference road games by an average of 11 points per game.

BET: Purdue -10 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Florida Gators vs. Tennessee Volunteers - 7:00PM ET

It's rare that you'll see may highlight an Over/Under in here, but tonight the value is too good to pass up. This game features the #1 defense in the country (Tennessee) vs. the #10 defense in the country (Florida), and occasionally both teams can have trouble scoring. Florida's offense is ranked just 148th in the country, and in six of their nine losses this season the Gators have scored in the 50s. Nine of the last 12 Florida games have gone under 132 points. On the other side, Tennessee has held opponents under 60 points 15 times this year already.  This one should be a rock fight.

BET: Under 132 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Pittsburgh Panthers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels - 7:00PM ET

Kenpom likes North Carolina as a 7-point favorite here, and anytime you see 1.5 points of value or more, it's worth taking a deeper dive into. Pittsburgh just finds a way to hang in games, covering 8.5 points in 20 of their 22 games so far this season. You have to go all the way back to November 16th to find the last time the Panthers lost by more than eight points. North Carolina has improved over the last month, but their success can be attributed as much to a weaker schedule as it can be to the Tar Heels themselves. We will take the points.

BET: Pittsburgh +8.5 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
