College Basketball Best Bets for Tuesday, January 31
Miami Hurricanes vs. Virginia Tech Hokies - 7:00PM ET
This is a matchup between two teams with opposite patterns depending on if they are at home or on the road, so it should be no surprise that we love the home team tonight. The Hurricanes are a perfect 11-0 at home on the season, while the Hokies are still winless as a visiting team with an 0-6 record in away games. Over the course of January, Miami has alternated wins and losses, and they are coming off a loss last game which means we should expect a quality performance from Isaiah Wong and the Canes' guards. Over the whole of the month of January, Miami is ranked 37 spots higher on Torvik, do despite their inconsistent play, they have still been the better side than VATech for awhile now.
BET: Miami -3.5 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Texas A&M Aggies - 7:00PM ET
SEC fans are starting to take Texas A&M seriously, but we aren't all the way there yet. During this impressive run over the last month, the Aggies have somehow avoided playing all of the elite teams in the SEC (Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas) until tonight. A&M is just 1-3 against top 40 teams this season, and Arkansas is a very talented squad that can pounce on a team that struggles against elite opponents. Despite the Razorbacks' loss, they were very impressive on the road against Baylor. Arkansas is 10-1 at home this season, and all ten wins have come by six points or more.

Kansas Jayhawks vs. Kansas State Wildcats - 8:00PM ET
Stop me if you've heard me write this before - this is too many points for a fiesty Kansas State team with all-american level talents in Markquis Nowell and Keyonate Johnson. The Wildcats have covered eight points in 19 of their 21 games this year, but this number being so valuable is more about who they are playing. In eight straight games prior to Kansas' big win at Rupp Arena, Kansas failed to cover an 8-point spread, including home games against worse teams than Kansas State in TCU, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Going back even further, 11 of Kansas' 17 wins this season have come by less tha eight points - including non-conference wins over Southern Utah, NC State and Wisconsin. We'll take the points.
BET: Kansas State +8 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
