College Basketball Best Bets for Thursday, February 9

Purdue Boilermakers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes - 7:00PM ET

Iowa has been a drastically different team on the road vs. at home this season. The Hawkeyes are just 1-4 away from Carver Hawkeye Arena in conference play, with blowout losses to both Nebraska and Ohio State already under their belt. That sounds like a tall task for Iowa to take on the #1 team in the country at Mackey Arena. This is a big bounce back spot for Purdue after their rivalry loss to Indiana, and Matt Painter has historically owned Iowa, winning six of his last eight games in the series.

BET: Purdue -8 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Northwestern Wildcats vs. Ohio State Buckeyes - 8:00PM ET

Northwestern has been shockingly good on the road this season, with a 4-2 record in away games in Big Ten play, including wins at Indiana, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Nebraska. These aren't your typical Wildcats. Working in their favor tonight is the fact that Ohio State is a very broken basketball team. The Buckeyes have lost nine of their last ten games, and most recently two of their stars (Brice Sensabaugh and Zed Key) got benched in a loss to Michigan. Northwestern should be able to cover in this spot and keep their streak going.

BET: Northwestern + 5.5 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Arizona Wildcats vs. Cal Golden Bears - 11:00PM ET

It feels like less people are talking about how historically bad Cal is this season, largely because they somehow aren't as bad as Louisville. But make no mistake - Cal is horrendous, and will have no answers for a team with the firepower that Arizona has. The Wildcats have now won six straight games, four of the six in blowout fashion by 15 points or more. They just beat Oregon State, who is 50 spots higher on Kenpom than Cal, by 32 points. We love the Cats here.

BET: Arizona -19 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
