College Basketball Best Bets for Saturday, January 21

Arizona Wildcats vs. UCLA Bruins - 2:00PM ET

This game is the result of an odd scheduling moment for both teams. Both Arizona and UCLA played late games on Thursday night and will now face off as the best two teams in the Pac-12 in a game that tips off at 11AM local time on the west coast Saturday. Arizona should be better prepared, as they have the luxury of both games being played at home. UCLA on the other hand was at Arizona State Thursday, and likely traveled straight to Tuscon for this matchup.

UCLA hasn't played a team that will likely make the NCAA Tournament in over a month...until now. The Bruins are 0-2 on the season against Top 30 teams. Arizona has played up and down to competition, but in their most important game of the season so far, we expect them to show up with their A+ effort, like they did in the Maui Invitation when they won the entire tournament.

BET: Arizona ML (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Kansas Jayhawks vs. TCU Horned Frogs - 1:00PM ET

Pray for the team that has to face Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse the game after they lose (to a rival, in this case). TCU is a good, not great, basketball team, but they won't have the advantage anywhere on the floor over a sound Jayhawks squad that needs a statement victory. TCU was down 20+ points for much of their last game at West Virginia, and Kansas is significantly better across the board.

At home, under Bill Self, Kansas is a whopping 292-16. Since 2015, after a loss, Kansas is 45-5. Only one of those losses came at home. They rarely lose in spots like this, and their wins are usually comfortable. We will side with Jayhawks in epic fashion.

BET: Kansas -6.5 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Texas Longhorns vs. West Virginia Mountaineers - 6:00PM ET

Speaking of West Virginia, we aren't buying them as a middle of the pack team in the Big 12. Despite controlling the game against TCU for most of regulation, they nearly blew a 20-point lead and had to rally late to separate and win. The Mountaineers are 0-4 against top 20 teams, with an average margin of defeat by 10+ points per game.

Texas has been fantastic off of losses this season. After their only two previous losses, the Longhorns won (and covered) both their next games by an average win margin of 10+ points. West Virginia's porous defense will be a welcome challenge after Iowa State's smothering group last game. Trust Texas to get it done.

BET: Texas +1 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
