BetMGM Sportsbook Promo, Bonus and Odds for June 13, 2022
Fresh off his victory at the RBC Canadian Open, where he went in the prohibitive favorite, Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy wears the favorite’s target again heading to golf’s toughest test, the 2022 U.S. Open June 16-19 at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts.
2022 US Open Golf
McIlroy is at +1200 with most sportsbooks, followed closely by 2022 Masters champion Scottie Scheffler at +1300 and Justin Thomas, whose improbable comeback the final day of the 2022 PGA Championship earned him the other major win of 2022, and +1400 consideration for the U.S. Open.
Jon Rahm, the 2021 U.S. Open champion, is on the fifth line of betting at +1500.
BetMGM, which has McIlroy even shorter at +1100, reported on Monday the biggest money in its book was coming in on Scheffler, with 6.6% of the ticket and 9.4% of the handle. Scheffler has had the biggest rise in odds as well, now at +1400 according to BetMGM after opening at +4000.

Will Zalatoris, who lost in a playoff to Thomas at the PGA back on May 22 is getting the second-highest ticket pull at 5.4% and 4.1% of the handle. He, too, has made a major push in probability, going from +4000 to +2500 currently.
The biggest move up in odds leading up to the Open has been Sam Burns, who opened at +8000 and now sits at +2800, while heading in the opposite direction, Collin Morikawa opened at +2200 and is now at +2800, getting him the second-highest handle at 7.3%.
Jordan Spieth has gone from +1800 to +2500 and in perhaps the best value, Brooks Kopeka, a two-time U.S. Open winner, has gone from +1400 to +4000.

NBA Finals Game 5, 2022
Game 5 of the NBA Finals tips off tonight in San Francisco with the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics knotted at 2-2.
BetMGM reports the most bet props have Boston’s Jaylen Brown as the most likely to score the first basket, a +400 proposition and Brown’s teammate Jayson Tatum hitting the first 3-pointer at +2000. Golden State star Stephen Curry going over 30.5 points is getting the third most action at a (-125) prospect.
As for the game’s outcome, 68% of the bets coming into BetMGM are going for the Celtics getting +3.5 points, good for 71% of the handle. As for winning, what has now become a best-of-three series, BetMGM reports the Warriors are now a -150 favorite with the Celtics getting +125 odds.
After his 43-point series-squaring performance in Game 4, Curry remains the favorite for series MVP, now at -145. Tatum is at +185 and Brown +700 with Curry getting 17.8% of the ticket and 34.5% of the handle.
