The initiation of the regulated Kentucky sports betting market is slated for early September, contingent on the acquisition of required licensing. BetMGM Kentucky joins the ranks of FanDuel and Caesars, becoming the third sportsbook to enter the KY market.
Revolutionary Racing's CEO, Prentice Salter, did not hold back his excitement about the alliance. In his words, “We promised to bring a world-class facility to Ashland and wanted a world-class partner for online sports wagering across the Commonwealth and at our sportsbook lounge. We’ve got that with BetMGM.”

The partnership between BetMGM and RRKY will result in significant developments in Kentucky's gaming and entertainment landscape. Among these, the unveiling of a new 5,200 square-foot BetMGM Sportsbook stands out. This facility will find its home at Sandy's Racing & Gaming, a prominent $75 million gaming and entertainment location in Ashland.
The collaboration doesn't end there; Revolutionary Racing has grand visions for Kentucky's racing industry, including constructing the state's first-ever quarter horse racetrack along with a neighboring equestrian center. These cutting-edge facilities, occupying 182 acres next to Sandy's, will undoubtedly enrich the racing scene, with the inaugural races projected for 2025.
