Dimers' 10-Day, $1,000 NBA Challenge

For the sake of this challenge, we’ll be basing profits off the maximum bet amount of $100 per bet. This gives us a flat unit to track and a clear representation of the maximum profit that can be made via the promo each day. 

There's no opt-in required on Day 1, but users will have to opt-in to the bet match promo each day from Days 2-10 to qualify for their bet match.

We "finished" our ten day challenge up a total of $670. I say "finished" because we're not technically done yet. We've got a +260 Celtics NBA Finals Futures bet in hand that will pay us $260 if it hits, but more importantly, we've got one $100 bonus bet left to use.

Bet #10 - Tuesday, March 5: Zion Williamson Over 5.5 AST (+120)

That sucked. We missed our bonus bet prop by 1 assist and the Lakers were a mess on seemingly every other possession last night. We simply picked the wrong props as the rest of our best edges crushed it.

It took nine days for us to have our first actual losing day in this challenge and while that's a good rate of return, we don't want any losing days.

We've got our last Pick of the Day today and two more bonus bets to take advantage of to end on a high note, so let's get into Day 10 and  don't forget to opt-in to the Bet Match promo to get your 100% bonus bet match!

For our final pick, we're backing Pelicans star Zion Williamson to go over his 5.5 assists line vs. the Toronto Raptors. This is the highest edge of the day on any prop bet per our model, and Zion gets a projection of 6.9 assists, against a 57.8% probability to go over. That presents a 13% edge worth betting. Zion's assists numbers are way up recently, averaging 6.5 per game in February compared to the 4.8 he averaged in January, and he's cleared this in six of his last 10 games.

Recommended Day 9 bonus bet play: Brandon Ingram Alt. Over 24.5 PTS (+170) -  Let's stick in the same game and back a prop that correlates with our main pick, and is backed by DimersBOT. Pelicans SF Brandon Ingram gets a 27.4-point projection in tonight's game vs. the Raptors, notably over his 21.5 points line. 

You can get him to go over at -110, but we like backing his alternate points over of 24.5 at +170. He's scored 30+ in back-to-back games and went off for 41 in the Pelicans' previous meeting with the Raptors this season, who allow 24.8 PPG to small forwards.

Taking Ingram to be the top points scorer in this game at +280 is also appealing if you want a bit more risk.

Bet #9 - Monday, March 4: D'Angelo Russell Over 5.5 AST (+105)

We missed our main play but cashed the +170 bonus bet to stay profitable, but it's not as good as we wanted. Tyrese Haliburton threw up bricks all night but Paolo Banchero took care of us. Two days left to stack the cash.

For Day 9, we're targeting Lakers PG D'Angelo Russell on you guessed it...an assists prop. His over 5.5 is plus money which is what we like, and it's a top-six edge on the board, coming in a hair under a double-digit edge at 9.9%

We're projecting Russell for 7.0 assists tonight with a 58.6% probability of going over. Since the start of February, he's gone over in 7 of 12 games, averaging 7.5 per game last month, up from 6.0 in January and 5.4 in December, and is averaging 9.6 potential assists per game this season.

Result: LOSS

Recommended Day 8 bonus bet play: James Harden Over 8.5 Assists (+110) The bonus bet plays continue to come in clutch so we're sticking with our formula and going with plus-money based on our model's direct projections.

James Harden is projected for 10 assists from our model tonight, with a 58.3% probability of going over his 8.5 line. You can get him for over 9.5 at +175, but the regular plus money line backed by our projection is appealing enough on its own.

Bet #8 - Sunday, March 3: Tyrese Haliburton
Alt Over 19.5 PTS (+110)

Alas, back-to-back perfect days were not meant to be. We nailed our afternoon +140 bonus bet with Nic Claxton securing a double-double, before Devin Booker rolled his ankle in the 3Q after recording just two boards.

We still made a profit yesterday which is the ultimate goal, but let's do better today.

We're taking an alternate line for this prop, with Haliburton's points prop line set at 18.5, he gets a substantially larger projection of 25.1 points according to our model. Taking the standard over already comes with an edge of 11.5%, so there is value in taking his regular line if you wish, however with such a large projection, we're going to take the plus-money option.

The Spurs are one of the worst defenses against point guards, allowing 26.9 per game, the second-highest in the NBA. Haliburton is coming off an abysmal game and he doesn't do two duds in a row. He played the Spurs once this year (way back in November) and put up 23 points.

Result: LOSS

Recommended Day 7 bonus bet play: Paolo Banchero Alt. Over 24.5 Points - Let's stick with the theme and take another alternate points prop strongly supported by our model. the Magic's young star has his points line set at 21.5 which comes with a 7.9% edge against his odds, while DimersBOT projects him for 27.3. His alternate over of 24.5 offers us +170 odds which is too good to pass up for a bonus bet play.

Bet #7 - Saturday, March 2: Devin Booker Over 4.5 REB (+120)

DOUBLE FRIDAY BANG. Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic both cashed our plus-money assists props last night, bringing us to a $530 profit total over six days, and guaranteeing us a profit over the 10-day challenge. It was made that much sweeter by the fact that Vooch got ejected about five minutes after cashing for us.

Now, for Day 7.

We're backing Devin Booker to go over his 4.5 rebounds line against the Houston Rockets tonight. Booker is averaging 4.6 boards per game this season, and has seen his rebound numbers dip in February to just 3.6 per game, but he has cleared this mark in three of his last five games, including two against these very Rockets (5 and 7). DimersBOT projects Booker to split the difference with six boards tonight and a 57% probability to go over. We get a 13% edge against these odds, making it both data-backed and +EV. This line has moved repeatedly from +130 to +115, so we're tracking at +120 where it was as of writing.

Result: LOSS

Recommended Day 6 bonus bet play: Nicolas Claxton to Get a Double Double (+140) - Nets center Nicolas Claxton is projected for 13 points and 11 rebounds tonight according to our model. We'd like to see him return to his January numbers when he recorded a DD in all but five games, as he's had just two in 12 February appearances. 

You can get better odds (+210) if you parlay his Over 11.5 Points and Over 9.5 Rebounds, but that could lose with 11 or 10 points while the double double would cash. He has just two double-doubles with fewer than 12 points, for what it's worth.

Bet #6 - Friday, March 1: Tobias Harris Over 3.5 AST (+120)

A disappointing result for our day 6 pick as Giannis came up a pair of assists shy. It looked like we had a good shot after he put up 4 dimes in the first half but it wasn't meant to be. Our bonus bet pick for Wemby to go over 11..5 rebounds cashed late in the 4Q though, so we still came out ahead.

We continue to find value in assists props so we're rolling with them again. It's not intentional; we simply find stronger plus-money edges in this market compared to points. 76ers PF Tobias Harris gets one of the strongest edges of the day for an NBA prop, nearly 12% to his over against his +120 odds available.

The DimersBOT model projects Harris for 4.6 assists tonight, with a 56% probability of going over this mark. He's averaging 5.2 potential assists per game this season and has cleared this in 7 of his last 15 games. We'll gladly roll the dice at this +120 value.

Recommended Day 5 bonus bet play: We'll tail another assists prop with a big edge and that's Bulls big Nikola Vucevic to go over his 2.5 assists line, something he's done in 9 of his last 15 games. He gets a 61% probability from our model, with a projection of 4.4. Take his over 2.5 AST at +105.

Bet #5 - Thursday, February 29: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 6.5 AST (+105)

Another third-quarter cash brings us to a profit total of $305 through four days of our challenge, thanks to the birthday boy, Luka Doncic, who delivered *16* assists when we  needed 10. On to Day 5 and don't forget to opt-in to the Bet Match promo to get your 100% bonus bet match!

Star players and assists props have been working out well and we're going to stick with that today with the highest edge of any prop according to our model. Giannis gets a 67% probability to clear 6.5 assists tonight vs. the Hornets, who the Bucks just thumped on Tuesday night. He's projected for 10 which gives him some ladder potential, but we just need 7. 

Giannis has hit this in six of 11 games in February. Two of those unders include games against these Hornets when he played only 24 minutes in each. A blowout could very well be in the card tonight, so if that turns you off, you're welcome to bet the other side, but we'll continue to back the BOT.

Recommended Day 4 bonus bet play: How about backing Victor Wembanyama on a plus-money rebounds line? We're projecting him for 12 boards tonight against the Thunder, which is what he hit in their previous meeting,. OKC allows the fifth-most rebounds per game to opponents, including 16.1 per game to centers.  Take Wemby's Over 11.5 REB for +110

Bet #4 - Wednesday, February 28: Luka Doncic Over 9.5 AST (+100)

Day 3 was sweat-free as Donte DiVincenzo took the reins with Jalen Brunson out and sank seven three-pointers for us, plus Jayson Tatum crashed the boards with 11 rebounds to win us $210 on Tuesday! Let's get into Day 4 and as always, don't forget to opt-in to the Bet Match promo to get your 100% bonus bet match!

We're going for some star power with Luka Doncic's assists prop. We're projecting Luka for 11.9 assists tonight while his line is set at 9.5 and +100 to the over. His rebounds line is set at 8.5, yet his Double-Double prop is -240. What's that tell you? The book says a Luka double-double has a 70.6% probability of happening, meaning there is significant value in him to get double-digit assists. Luka gets a 63.3% probability to clear this mark from our model, making him our Day 4 play.

Result: WIN ($100)

Recommended Day 3 bonus bet play: Mike Conley (MIN) Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (+145). Conley gets a 51.1% probability to go over this number with an 11.1% edge (should be -105). He's hit this in back-to-back games and has a little extra motivation tonight; he'll play the Grizzlies, the team he spent the first 12 years of his career with.

Bet #3 - Tuesday, February 27: Donte DiVincenzo Over 3.5 Three-Pointers Made (-105)

Hooked! Simone Fontecchio came up one board shy of a second-straight cash last night. This brings us to -$5 so far, but with two $100 bonus bets collected. Let's get back into the green with Day 3.

Knicks SG Donte DiVincenzo gets a 63% probability to hit this over tonight, with a 15.5% edge against his +110 odds (on FanDuel). That's the highest edge of the day for DimersBOT, and even at the -105 odds on Fanatics, we get a 10.9% edge. 

DiVincenzo has hit at least four threes in 10 of his last 11 games. He's a high-volume deep shooter, with double-digit attempts in eight of those games. He's playing an average of 10 minutes more per game in February than all season and it's paying off. Furthermore, he'll face a 76ers defense that's struggled to defend guards from deep this season.

Bet #2 - Monday, February 26: Simone Fontecchio Over 3.5 REB (+120)

It doesn't get any more sweat free than that! Domantas Sabonis racked up 12 assists last night, securing us a $95 profit and a $100 bonus bet! Let's get right into Day 2.

For Day 2, we've got a slim 4-game slate in the NBA so value is few and far between. Fortunately, our model has still found some props with a double-digit edge. Pistons rookie Simone Fontecchio is averaging nearly 4.5 rebounds per game since the start of 2024. He's gone under in three straight but cleared in his previous seven games, and 10 of his last 14. The Knicks are a generally middling defense against forward when it comes to grabbing boards.

DimersBOT projects Fontecchio for 4 boards tonight with a 53.7% probability of going over this mark. At odds of +125, we get a 9% edge, showing substantial value.

Bet #1 - Sunday, February 25: Domantas Sabonis Over 8.5 AST (-105)

This bet was +100 and shifted to -105 as I added it to my betslip, but this is the play for the day. DimersBOT locked in Domantas Sabonis' assists over as our top NBA prop of the dayand we're riding with it for Day 1.

Sabonis gets a beefy 64% probability of clearing this line to go along with a projection of 11.1 assists from DimersBOT. That's a strong cushion and for a player who's cleared this mark in 7 of his last 10 games and averaging 10.3 assists per game in February, it's a line we'll gladly take.
