Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Tuesday, February 7, 2023

We're locked in and prepared to turn a profit with our NBA best bets for Tuesday, February 7. This slate is actually looking like a very good one, as we'll see Devin Booker return to action when the Phoenix Suns face the Brooklyn Nets in the first of two games on TNT. The second game will feature LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers hosting a feisty Oklahoma City Thunder group. We have a pick for you on the second of those two games, and we're also targeting two other matchups that we like. With that said, keep reading for our expert's in-depth matchup analysis, combined with some of our predictive analytics and artificial intelligence. Also, make sure you check out tonight's NBA player props parlay. That will give you the chance to earn a big payout if it ultimately ends up hitting.

Best NBA Bets Today

New York Knicks vs. Orlando Magic, 7:00PM ET

Despite the fact that the Knicks are 29-26 and the Magic are 22-32, these teams are a lot closer than you might think when it comes to actual talent. And Orlando has been putting it together in recent weeks, with the team being 6-4 in its last 10 games. Meanwhile, New York is just 4-6. With that said, the Magic are playing a little better than the visitors heading into this one, and that's a big part of the reason we like the value on Orlando here.

There really aren't many places in which the Knicks have a clear advantage in this on-court matchup. Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle are both playing great basketball this season, but the Magic have a good backcourt and then a lot of excellent two-way forwards to throw at Randle. And truth be told, an argument can be made that Franz Wagner will be the best player on the floor when these teams meet. He's averaging 19.5 points per game on efficient shooting, while also playing great multi-positional defense this year.

The Magic also have a tough point guard duo in Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony. Both of them will attack Brunson as much as possible, and the Knicks guards isn't a great defender. Also, Randle won't have much of a chance of defending rookie Paolo Banchero, who is massive and can score at all three levels.

We should also point out that the Magic are 8-0 against the spread when coming off a win by six or fewer points this season. They generally respond well to being in close games.

DID YOU KNOW? New York's Quentin Grimes has scored fewer than 11.5 points in eight of his last 13 appearances. That and more in our NBA Trends section.

Atlanta Hawks vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 7:30PM ET

The Over is 8-3 in the last 11 games that the Hawks have played, and the Pelicans have gone Over in four of their last five. These teams also happened to combine for 245 points in a game with a total of 230.5 back on November 5, and this game just has all the makings of another high-scoring affair.

Atlanta has one of the best offensive backcourts in basketball, with Trae Young and Dejounte Murray capable of exploding on any given night. However, that duo is also miserable on the other end of the floor, which will give CJ McCollum a chance to light it up in this one. That should make it easy for this game to turn into a shootout.

We're also expecting a big game from Brandon Ingram, who is one of the best offensive wings in the league. Ingram had been in a shooting slump when he first returned from his injury, but he's averaging 30.5 points per game over the last two games. That should give him the confidence he needs to get it going in this one.

SAY WHAT? New Orleans' Larry Nance has scored more than 7.5 points in eight of his last 10 appearances. You can find more stats like this in our NBA Trends section.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:00PM ET

The Thunder are one of the most exciting teams in the league, as they have surprised a lot of people by finding a way to enter the Western Conference Play-In picture. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the main reason for that, as he has turned into a legitimate star this season. And Oklahoma City has some other intriguing players, with Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams both being superb. And we're counting on all three giving the Lakers some trouble in this one, especially with their youthful energy.

LeBron James is just 36 points away from breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time NBA scoring record, and that is a total that he can achieve in one game. With that said, you might want to bank on LeBron looking to break that mark in this home game. And while that would be awesome to see, it could also mean that The King will force the issue as a scorer. That will leave Oklahoma City with a chance to hang around here, as the team's sole focus will be on winning this one.

The Thunder are also an impressive 28-15 ATS when playing as road underdogs of 6.5 to 12 points under head coach mark Daigneault.

TREND: We've also identified an NBA trend for Oklahoma City's Josh Giddey that's worth consideration. Giddey has collected more than 7.5 rebounds in eight of his last 11 appearances.

BET: Thunder +6.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
