They host a Detroit team this evening who are down on their luck with just one win in their last 10 games, with key pieces in Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey out with injury. This is a horror west coast road trip so far for the Pistons and the pain doesn't look like subsiding any time soon.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Brooklyn Nets, 7:00PM ET

The injury list for Memphis heading into this one is long. None of Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson, or Danny Green will feature in tonight's game against the Nets, and while last year the Griz were able to excel with the loss of Morant, there are simply too many key cogs in addition missing tonight. It might be a scary thought to trust Brooklyn who start 8-point favorites - but with the expected return of Kyrie Irving from suspension, they should have just enough firepower on their home court to dominate a team who aren't expecting too much out of this one.

Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets, 7:00PM ET

The Warriors head back on the road, looking for their first win of the season away from home after an 0-8 start to the season. The sportsbooks believe it'll be a cakewalk for the defending champions, giving the Rockets a 10 point head start on the line despite no big names listed on the injury list. This might very well be the game that breaks the drought for Golden State, but both of these teams are bottom 10 defenses in the NBA this year and Houston can hold their own that will be able to keep up with the pace of the Warriors who rank 4th in the league for points scored per game. Anything could happen here, but a heavy flow of points feels like a safe assumption.
