The injury list is mounting up for Toronto, but the lack of firepower on the active roster doesn't appear to be limiting their ability to chalk up wins as they ride a back-to-back dubs against the Pistons and Heat. While the likes of Pascal Siakam, Gary Trent and Otto Porter Jr. will continue to miss in the Raps' tilt against the Hawks tonight, there's still enough talent on the team via Fred VanVleet, Scottie Barnes and OG Anunoby - who have been performing at a high level this week in lieu of their injured teammates - to suggest that this will still be a competitive battle. We're taking the points.

Orlando Magic vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:00PM ET

The Magic - without their star No. 1 draft pick in Paolo Banchero who is missing through injury - picked up a stoic win last night in Chicago in the dying stages against the Bulls, and they'll like their chances tonight against a similarly young roster in the Pacers. Bettors, though, may not agree. The Magic have only put up an average of 105 points over their last five encounters, placing on emphasis on relying on their defense to lock in and be the difference while they go without their season's leading scorer. No matter what happens, the total seems to be prohibitively high when the game features a team that is struggling to score.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:30PM ET

The Timberwolves will be feeling good as they roll into Philadelphia, off the back of two straight wins where the offense has flowed, putting up 126 and 129 points respectively - but how will they fare against a top 5 defense in the 76ers? Philly themselves just took down the Bucks last night, limiting Giannis to a bad shooting night in what can only be a big confidence boost for Joel Embiid and his men. The Sixers appear to be dealing just fine without James Harden who continues to miss through injury, but a big blow could yet come after Tyrese Maxey was forced from the court during last night's contest with a suspected left foot injury that will require an MRI scan. Given this is the second night of a back-to-back, it's unlikely Maxey will suit up. Given the form of the man who has shot to the top of the odds for Most Improved Player, it might prove to be too big of an ask for Philly tonight. This is a line you should get early on the Wolves.
