Best NBA Bets Today

Sacramento Kings vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7:00PM ET

The Kings are beginning to figure things out a little bit, as they have covered in three of their last four games and just earned a 119-113 win as 4-point home underdogs against the Miami Heat. Now, Sacramento will look to make it two in a row when the team heads on the road to face a Charlotte team that just beat the Golden State Warriors in overtime.

This Hornets squad has been a lot more competitive than expected early in the year, and they have also covered in three of their last four. But Charlotte just does not match up very well with this Sacramento team. The Kings have De'Aaron Fox to defend the point of attack against Dennis Smith Jr., which should make a huge difference here. Smith is having a career year with Charlotte, but Fox has taken a leap on the defensive end.

Charlotte also doesn't really have an answer for Domantas Sabonis, who should feast inside in this game. The Hornets might have to send help in his direction, but they'd pay for that with Kevin Huerter, Keegan Murray and Harrison Barnes being great outside shooters. This just should be a game that goes Sacramento's way, even with Charlotte having a very strong crowd. It doesn't help that Terry Rozier is likely out for the Hornets.

BET: Kings -2.5 (-110) with BetMGM ➡️ here ⬅️.

Indiana Pacers vs. Brooklyn Nets, 7:30PM ET

The Nets held the classic players-only meeting after their loss to the Pacers the other day, but their issues aren't anything that holding hands and singing "Kumbaya" will fix. Brooklyn has some real issues on the defensive end right now, and we don't see that changing anytime soon. The team also has a mess of an off-court situation with Kyrie Irving once again doing the opposite of endearing himself to basketball fans.

Over the last two seasons, the Over is 16-6 when the Pacers play in games with totals of 230 or higher, with the average total in those games being 240.8 points per game. These teams actually combined to score 241 in a game with a total of 239 the other night, making it surprising to see the oddsmakers have lowered the number. But we're still going with the Over, as the Nets have some of the most talented offensive players in the world and the Pacers are loaded with young guys that love to score the basketball. And neither one of these teams takes pride in playing defense.

BET: Over 236.5 (-107) with BetMGM ➡️ here ⬅️.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Utah Jazz, 9:00PM ET

The Jazz beat the Grizzlies on Saturday night and that seemingly wasn't enough to make the public believe that Utah can compete with Memphis. The majority of the tickets are once again favoring the Grizzlies in this matchup, but we're rolling with the Jazz again here.

Since Taylor Jenkins became the head coach of Memphis, the team is just 4-14 ATS when playing on the road after a loss by six or fewer points. The Grizzlies have lost those games by 5.4 points per game, and it's a little bizarre to see because there aren't many situations in which Memphis has been unsuccessful. That leads us to believe that a trend like that has legs.

It's also just hard to go against this feisty Jazz team as long as the Grizzlies are so banged up. It's not impossible that Ja Morant returns to the floor after having missed last game, but we're not too nervous about that. We liked the way the Collin Sexton-Jordan Clarkson backcourt looked last game, and the Grizzlies also had a lot of trouble dealing with the offensive versatility of Lauri Markkanen and Kelly Olynyk.

It's hard to explain why this is the case, but Utah is clicking right now. Until Danny Ainge goes all out for Victor Wembanyama and trades some of these contributors, this is going to be a tough team to play on a nightly basis.

BET: Jazz +3.5 (-110) with BetMGM ➡️ here ⬅️.
