Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Friday, February 3, 2023

We're looking to have a big night with our NBA best bets for the Friday, February 3 slate, which features the Boston Celtics hosting the Phoenix Suns in an NBA TV game at 7:30PM ET. While nobody seems to be talking about the Suns as a championship contender anymore, it's not out of the realm of possibility that this will be an NBA Finals preview. However, the absence of Devin Booker will definitely take away some of the excitement for tonight's matchup. Either way, we have a play for you on that game, and we also have two others that we think you'll like. Our expert uses his own matchup analysis for these, but he also sprinkles in our predictive analytics and artificial intelligence. That's why they've been profitable all year long, and we also urge you to check out our NBA player props parlay

As always, we've simulated all of the night's NBA games 10,000 times each to determine where the value lies for sports bettors across the United States.

Best NBA Bets Today

Sacramento Kings vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:00PM ET

This season, the Pacers are 9-1 against the spread when hosting teams that shoot at least 36.0% from three. Indiana has won those games by an average of 5.7 points per game. The Pacers are also 12-2 ATS when hosting teams that allow opponents to shoot at least 46.0% from the field, and they have won those games by an average of 5.5 points per game. With that said, this is a matchup that should excite Indiana, as Sacramento is just miserable defensively.

This is also a revenge game for Tyrese Haliburton, who was drafted by the Kings and then flipped for Domantas Sabonis last year. He'll be eager to go out and put on a show in this one, especially with Indiana coming off of a one-point loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Look for Myles Turner's presence to be massive in this game. He should be able to give Sabonis a hard time around the basket with his length and ability to block shots, and he'll also space Sacramento out on the other end of the floor.

Overall, this should be something of a shootout, but we like the Pacers to cover — and probably win outright.

DID YOU KNOW? Indiana's Domantas Sabonis has recorded fewer than 8.5 assists in 18 of his last 25 appearances? That and more in our NBA Trends section.

Phoenix Suns vs. Boston Celtics, 7:30PM ET

The Under is 15-4 in Phoenix's meetings with Eastern Conference opponents this season, and it's also 16-5 when the Suns have played against teams that already beat them this year. Now, we're expecting this to be another low-scoring game for Phoenix.

Over the last 10 games, the Celtics are second in the league in defensive rating, so they have found that gear that made them an elite defense last season. Meanwhile, the Suns are eighth in the league in defensive rating in that same span, and they'll likely be locked in after getting blown out by the Atlanta Hawks at home last game.

The pace of play also favors Under bettors in this game, as the Suns like to play a half-court game with Chris Paul running the show. And the Celtics don't play very fast at all, as they're just 24th in the league in pace over the last 10 games. With that said, look for this to be a grind-it-out game, with both teams working hard for everything.

SAY WHAT? Boston's Al Horford has collected more than 5.5 rebounds in 15 of his last 24 appearances. You can find more stats like this in our NBA Trends section.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Utah Jazz, 9:00PM ET

For as many good things as the Jazz have done this season, the team is just 4-7 straight-up and 2-8-1 ATS when playing as a home favorite of 6 or fewer points this year. Meanwhile, since Nate McMillan became the head coach for Atlanta, the Hawks are 23-10 SU and 24-9 ATS when facing a team that beat them at home earlier in the season.

Atlanta is also coming off an amazing performance against Phoenix, as the Hawks beat the Suns by 32 points on Wednesday. The beauty of a win like that is that it's not that taxing on the body, so Atlanta should be ready to go out and compete against Utah in this one.

The Jazz did beat the Hawks by six back in November, but it's worth noting that Atlanta shot just 28.6% from three in that game. It's highly unlikely the Hawks will shoot that poorly from deep this time around, even with this game being on the road. With that said, we like Atlanta to flip the script and take it to Utah tonight.

TREND: We've also identified an NBA trend for Atlanta's Dejounte Murray that's worth consideration. Murray has recorded more than 5.5 assists in seven of his last 11 appearances.

BET: Hawks +1.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
