Best NBA Bets Today

San Antonio Spurs vs. Detroit Pistons, 7:00PM ET

Two teams that are very much in the thick of things when it comes to the race for Victor Wembanyama clash in Detroit tonight, but when it comes to which team is trying harder than the other to tank badly enough to land the generational French talent, it's hard to look past the Spurs. San Antonio sold off one of their veterans before Thursday's trade deadline, moving on Jakob Poeltl, as if you needed any more proof of what this team's intentions are this season.

Without their big man, and with several players marked as doubtful to play at the time of publishing, such as Tre Jones, Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan, it's hard to believe that the 'books are giving us a line as minuscule as the Pistons -3. To the surprise of many, Detroit didn't exactly commit a fire sale, only getting rid of Saddiq Bey before the deadline, and adding former No. 2 pick James Wiseman. With Bey not suiting up, expect even more offense to run via Bojan Bogdanovic who will be the most experienced player on the court tonight. We've got the home team making the most of a banged up and tanking San Antonio.

TOP TREND FOR THIS GAME: Jaden Ivey has recorded more than 5.5 assists in 8 of his last 14 appearances He's currently plus money with the sportsbooks at +122 to hit that line tonight. That and more in our NBA Trends section.

BET: Pistons -3 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Boston Celtics, 7:30PM ET

Hold onto your hats, as this line could swing viciously during the day. At the time of writing, the Celtics are favored by 10.5 points against the struggling Hornets, but the Celts could be missing their entire starting five with the already confirmed outs of Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown, as well as questionable tags on Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Robert Williams. We all know that Charlotte are a bad basketball team, but based on the current spread figure, our model is recommending that you lock this one in as soon as you read it. If Tatum, Horford and Williams are indeed out, Charlotte's chances of winning the game outright increase, and we'd suggest that playing this up to anywhere around +3 in favor of the Hornets would still be a smart move.

TOP TREND Charlotte's Terry Rozier has collected more than 4.5 rebounds in 7 of his last 10 appearances. You can find more stats like this in our NBA Trends section.

BET: Hornets +10.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Utah Jazz vs. Toronto Raptors, 7:30PM ET

The Raptors were another expected seller that didn't sell in this year's trade period, meaning that they're left with a reasonable squad that will win some games for the rest of the season. They start the second half of their season tonight, hosting the early surprise packets of the season in the Jazz, who were a team that did make moves themselves with the acquisition of Russell Westbrook from the Lakers. Westbrook won't be in action tonight in Toronto, but there is still a fairly capable cast for the Jazz, who despite their three consecutive losses, will rate their chances of keeping things close against a Raptors team who they beat just over a week ago. Lauri Markkanen was immense in the high scoring 131-128 win on February 1, scoring 28 points to go along with 13 rebounds. Of course, Toronto are a different prospect on their own home floor, but this line is exorbitant to say the least.

TREND: Toronto's Pascal Siakam has scored fewer than 25.5 points in 10 of his last 13 appearances. That can't be good, right? You can find that trend and more on our NBA Trends page.

BET: Jazz +8.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
