Royals vs. Tigers, 6:40PM ET

The Tigers came from behind to knock off the Royals last night, winning in extra innings. Detroit has won four straight games and six of their last seven. But it's hard to believe a bad baseball team can stay this hot for much longer. Matt Manning (2-3, 3.43 ERA) will start for the Tigers, and Detroit has only won three of his last nine starts, and two of those wins came in extra innings.

Detroit isn't the only hot team here either, as Kansas City has won five of its last seven. We think the Royals will get their revenge in this one. They should be able to tee off on Manning, who isn't at his best right now.

White Sox vs. Twins, 7:40PM ET

The White Sox and Twins will meet for Game 2 of a three-game series on Wednesday night at Target Field, in a match-up featuring a pair of pitchers with losing records that also happen to be prone to giving up crooked numbers. Chicago's Johnny Cueto (7-9, 3.15 ERA) has lost three consecutive starts, seeing his ERA rise from 2.87 to 3.15 in the process. Meanwhile, Minnesota's Josh Winder has lost three of his last four starts, with a no-decision in the fourth that resulted in a Twins loss.

With two pitchers who can't seem to find themselves on the right side lately, and two offenses capable of exploding, we love the Over 7.5 run total at plus-money. These offenses should be able to do enough to combine for eight runs in this game, so this value is too hard to pass up on.

Padres vs. Dodgers, 9:40PM ET

The Dodgers have owned the Padres this season, winning 12 of the first 16 games between the two clubs. However, the Padres have been hot of late, outscoring opponents by 29 runs in their last 10 games. This game features two of the better pitchers in baseball, Julio Urías (17-7, 2.25 ERA) and Joe Musgrove (10-7, 3.12 ERA).

With the Padres still looking to clinch a playoff birth against a team that has already locked the postseason up, we like San Diego to cover the spread. Musgrove should limit the damage the Padres can do, making it more likely that they'll cover a spread here.
