Wednesday MLB Parlay Analysis

Cincinnati Reds vs San Diego Padres, 4:10 PM ET

LEG 1: Xander Bogaerts to Record a Hit (-235) with DraftKings

Yesterday ended our streak of two straight parlay winners. We were counting on Bryson Stott to come through but an 0/4 outing won’t get it done.

Today, we start with ol’ reliable: Xander Bogaerts to Record a Hit. This has been a staple of the parlays over the last couple weeks and he’s always come through.

Batting .304 on the year, hitting .350 at home (where he is today), I trust Bogaerts to get it done.

Not only do I trust him, but the DimersBOT is giving this line an 11.4% Edge. Almost feels too good to be true, but the Bot was right about our boy Masataka yesterday (who sent one into the bleachers), hopefully it is right today.

Luis Cessa will start for the Reds. He has a 9.55 ERA & a 2.22 WHIP. He’s allowed 7, 14, 6 & 8 hits in his last 4 starts. He’s not very good.

Go get us a hit, Xander…or else.

Cleveland Guardians vs New York Yankees, 7:05 PM ET

LEG 2: Jose Ramirez to Record a Hit (-225) with DraftKings

I love a lot of Guardians to record hits today, but I have settled on Jose Ramirez. If this moves to 1.5 (which is unlikely), I’d pivot to one of his teammates as today the Guardians will face Clarke Schmidt.

If you’ve been watching our daily picks videos on YouTube, you would know we are constantly picking on Schmidt and today is no different.

Schmidt has a 6.84 ERA & 1.68 WHIP. Schmidt has allowed 6, 6, 3 & 10 hits in his last four starts. Ramirez is pesky at the plate. He rarely strikes out. He waits for his pitches and sends them into the outfield.

He’s 3/4 lifetime vs. Schmidt, so let’s hope he makes that 4/5 in the Top of the 1st.

Ramirez is hitting .287 on the year. Coming off two hits yesterday. I like him to get us at least one today. It doesn’t need to be that difficult, Jose.

Milwaukee Brewers vs Colorado Rockies, 8:40 PM ET

LEG 3: Rowdy Tellez to Record a Hit (-200) with DraftKings

Leg 3 is here and we are headed to Coors. If you’re looking for a member of this trio to hit a homerun, Rowdy is your guy.

Not only do I love Rowdy today, but the DimersBOT loves Tellez as well giving him a 14.8% Edge to Record a Hit. Almost feels too good to be true, but let’s not blindly trust the Bot, let’s due some digging into why we like Tellez.

For starters, Rowdy is batting .258 on the year. He has a hit in five straight games. After a slow start to the season, he’s really picked it up over the last few weeks, but has not hit a homerun in four games.

Tellez has 8 HRs this year (had 35 last year). It would be electric if he could hit a homer to cash this parlay, but we just need a hit.

Kyle Freeland will start for the Rockies. He’s a lefty, so is Tellez. Let’s hope our lefty can get the better of this matchup. Freeland had a great start to the season with 2 straight scoreless starts.

Since then, he’s returned to the Freeland I know as he’s allowed 6, 8, 5 & 5 hits. This is Coors Field. He’s going to give up some hits and runs, let’s just hope Rowdy is one of them!

Get all three players to record a hit for +208 on DraftKings. Let’s hope these three guys do their jobs!
