Wednesday MLB Parlay Analysis

Houston Astros vs Milwaukee Brewers, 1:11 PM ET

LEG 1: Over 7.5 Runs (-210) with DraftKings

This week, the parlays have started out cold. But, it’s Wednesday, the middle of the week, time to turn it around.

If you watched our video this morning, you would know that we are on the full game over at 9 in this matchup, so yes, we are confident we at least get eight runs to cash this leg.

Bielak and Houser are accidents waiting to happen. Bielak supports a 1.77 WHIP, yet a <3 ERA. Houser supports a 1.50 WHIP, but only 3.07 ERA. Those WHIPs don’t align with their ERAs. Both pitchers are going to give up some runs today.

These are two talented offenses capable of eight runs each, and today we could see just that. Once we get out of the starting pitchers, the Brewers bullpen is always looming for a late game run or two or three.

The Astros bullpen is solid, but that doesn’t mean they won’t give us some chances. Too many run opportunities to be had in this game. Give me the OVER!

San Francisco Giants vs Minnesota Twins, 1:11 PM ET

LEG 2: No Runs First Inning (-135) with DraftKings

Yesterday, we took this No Run First Inning and were treated to a bottom of the 1st, two-out homerun by Byron Buxton. You just know this NRFI is going to hit.

That’s how it always works the day after making it our official pick, just look at what happened in the Tigers/Royals game yesterday, a sweat-free NRFI.

Anthony DeSclafani and Joe Ryan are the guys we ask to get three outs each. Both guys have been great on NRFIs this season.

Both the Giants & Twins offenses are suspect. Some days they show up and score 10 runs. Some days they score no runs. I am confident in their first time through the order that both pitchers will do what they need to do.

Six Quick Outs. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Boston Red Sox vs Los Angeles Angels, 9:39 PM ET

LEG 3: Over 7.5 Runs (-190) with DraftKings

We’re on the alternate over for the Red Sox/Angels game since we’re already on the standard line of 9.5.

At the end of the day, this pick is a line-read for two teams that have been soaring under. There’s no reason the line should be this high unless they know the offense finally catches fire.

Tyler Anderson hosted batting practice last time he faced Boston. Anderson gave up six earned runs in his previous matchup. The Red Sox are hitting .289 vs lefties in May, so they have a good shot to get to him again.

James Paxton is starting for the Red Sox. Like the Red Sox, the Angels have been hitting lefties well at a .273 average during May.

Between the two starting pitchers and two suspect bullpens, there should be run opportunities in all nine innings. Can the bats convert them into runs for us? I say yes.
