Wednesday MLB Parlay Analysis
Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Washington Nationals, 7:07 PM ET
LEG 1: CJ Abrams to Record 1+ Hit (-230) with DraftKings
The Parlay of the Day begins with CJ Abrams. You might’ve never heard of Abrams, and rightfully so, but allow me to introduce you to him. Abrams is a Washington National. He’s hitting a modest .232 on the season, but today he will be improving that average and here’s why:
Abrams went 0-4 yesterday. The last time he went back-to-back games without a hit was May 18th, that’s a long time ago.
Not only that, Abrams is a lefty which I love today vs. Zach Davies of the Diamondbacks. Davies hasn’t been great this season but most importantly, he’s allowing a .375 Batting Average vs. Left Handed Batters (only .188 vs. Righties).
While Abrams usually bats near the bottom of the lineup for the Nationals, that’s sometimes where all the production comes from. Abrams is getting a hit today, mark my words.

New York Mets vs Atlanta Braves, 7:21 PM ET
LEG 2: Austin Riley to Record 1+ Hit (-210) with DraftKings
The second leg takes us to Atlanta where we need Austin Riley to record a hit against the Mets. The Mets are starting their ace Max Scherzer, but that doesn’t scare me.
In his career, Riley is hitting .222 against Scherzer. At home, Riley has been red-hot, hitting .306 at home this season.
Part of Scherzer’s game relies on hitters chasing pitches outside the zone. A plate-disciplined hitter like Riley will make Scherzer throw him pitches to hit.
Riley also bats near the top of the order. There should be several plate appearances especially in a game with an over/under unusually high for the two starting pitchers.
St. Louis Cardinals vs Texas Rangers, 8:05 PM ET
LEG 3: Marcus Semien to Record 1+ Hit (-260) with DraftKings
The last leg is as chalky as it gets. Yes, we’re asking Marcus Semien to record a hit for us.
Semien has accomplished this feat in 25 straight games. We’re just asking to extend that hit streak to 26 games today.
Semien faces Jack Flaherty and the Cardinals today. Flaherty has allowed 5+ hits in seven starts this season.
The way this Rangers offense has been humming, there’s no reason to think they won’t hit around Flaherty today. At home, Semien is hitting .316 this season.
Marcus Semien has a chance to be a hero and an easy leg down in this hit parlay. Now go get it done Marcus!
