MLB Best Bet Parlay For Wednesday, August 9
Wednesday MLB Parlay Analysis
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Tampa Bay Rays, 6:41 PM ET
LEG 1: Wander Franco 1+ Hit (-225) with Bet365
The Hit Parlay cashed on Monday, let’s do it again on Wednesday.
The first leg of the hit parlay sends us to Tampa Bay. We need Wander Franco to get a hit against Dakota Hudson and the Cardinals.
Dakota Hudson is coming off a great start where he only allowed two hits in seven innings. What I know about Hudson is how inconsistent he is.
In the start before that, Hudson allowed nine hits. Today he gets the Rays powerful offense led by Franco who has a hit in nine out of his last 10 games.
At home, Franco is hitting .266 this season. Against righties, Franco is hitting .262 this season.
With two of those key stats being above the .260 mark, Franco should get it done for us today.
Atlanta Braves vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 7:06 PM ET
LEG 2: Austin Riley 1+ Hit (-250) with Bet365
The second leg of this hit parlay is Austin Riley to get a hit. Riley has been excellent for our home run props this year but all we need is a hit today.
Riley and the Braves face Quinn Priester and the Pirates today. Priester has allowed 5+ hits in three out of his four starts this season.
Facing a ridiculous Braves offense today will be a challenge for him. Especially against Austin Riley who is hitting .271 this season.
Against righties, Riley is hitting an even better .276 on the year. Crushing right-handed pitching is a key to Riley’s success this year and a reason why he’s a staple in hit parlays.

Chicago Cubs vs. New York Mets, 7:11 PM ET
LEG 3: Nico Hoerner 1+ Hit (-250) with Bet365
The final leg of this hit parlay involves Nico Hoerner
While I normally try to back Nico at home where he’s batting .289, I will settle with him on the road where he’s batting .256.
Hoerner will face the lefty David Peterson of the Mets. Hoerner is hitting .272 vs. Lefties this year (.275 vs. Righties). Peterson is allowing a .300 BA this season.
Hoerner has seen Peterson twice, going 2/2 with 2 Singles. Let’s hope he can extend that record to 3/3 in his first At Bat.
Another thing you have to love is Nico will bat in the 2 Spot for the Cubs, so he will see at least four plate appearances, with a good chance at 5. At that point, it just becomes a percentage play.
Take us home, Hoerner.
