The Guards have locked their place in the postseason and will be looking to take even more confidence into their Wild Card matchup in around two week's time with a good showing this week against a high-quality opponent in the Rays. These teams have only played three times so far this year with Cleveland taking a 2-1 edge and they will be going in fully loaded with their No. 1 man in Shane Bieber taking to the mound. It's hard trying to find a team in better form than the Guardians right now, going 9-1 in their last 10 games. This will be a great test for their credentials, but they are getting the Rays at the exact right time.

Yankees vs. Blue Jays, 7:07PM ET

The Yanks and Blue Jays opened up their midweek series last night in a relatively tight contest with Toronto prevailing in extra innings to win 3-2 and in the process delaying home run No. 61 for Aaron Judge for at least another night. With José Berríos (11-6, 5.27 ERA) getting the nod to start with the ball for the Blue Jays, it won't just be Judge who will be licking their lips at a chance to score runs tonight, but in fact the entire Yankee team. Berrios has continued to be one of the more costly pitchers in the MLB with a 5.65 ERA in his last 3 outings, as well as ranking third in the league for the percentage of games that go over the total among starting pitchers at 65%. It's quite astonishing that we're getting an even 8 runs on the total at the time of publishing. Hammer it.

Orioles vs. Red Sox, 7:10PM ET

The O's stomped all over the Red Sox last night with a big 14-8 win at Fenway Park in a game that Baltimore were dominant in throughout as they handed Boston their 6th consecutive lost. As we wrote yesterday, this Sox team has clearly lost the motivation as their season has withered away, and they'll find themselves up against it again tonight with a fired up Orioles team looking to keep their foot on the throat. Kyle Bradish will be starting for the visitors, and he is in some nice form having shutout the Astros in his last start - his third such scoreless start within his last 6 appearances.
