Tuesday MLB Parlay Analysis
New York Mets vs Cincinnati Reds, 6:40 PM ET
LEG 1: Mark Canha to Record a Hit (-220) with DraftKings
Yesterday, we gave you all a +200 3 Leg Hit Parlay and it smacked. Today, why not run it back with another three hitters at +200 each to record a hit? You in? Let’s get start with Mark Canha.
I love Mark Canha today, and so does the DimersBot giving this a 4.6% Edge. While I don’t base these picks based strictly on the bot, it is worth noting that the DimersBot has been dialed in.
Canha is batting only .222 on the season, but quietly starting to turn it around. Canha has a hit in 5 of his last 6 games. At one point in the season, Canha’s batting average was .140 so he’s picked it up.
Canha bats better vs. Right Handed Pitchers, and lucky for him, Luke Weaver is on the mound for the Reds, a Right Handed Pitcher. Weaver hasn’t been great this season, no sugar coating it.
In his last 2 starts, Weaver allowed 8 & 9 hits. While I don’t expect him to duplicate those performances today, the Mets should have plenty of baserunners letting Canha get up to the plate a couple extra times.
Do your job, Mark.
Oakland Athletics vs New York Yankees, 7:05 PM ET
LEG 2: Esteury Ruiz to Record a Hit (-220) with DraftKings
We’re running it back with Esteury Ruiz, who got a hit for us yesterday. The DimerBot gives this play a 5% edge, so we have to go back to the well.
Today, he faces Clark Schmidt and the Yankees. Schmidt has allowed 5+ hits in five out of his six starts this season. In his last start, he allowed 10 hits to the Rangers.
The opportunities for Ruiz to record a hit should be there. In fact, Ruiz now has a hit in 10 straight games. He even had two hits yesterday, so he’s seeing the ball well in New York.
On the season, Ruiz is hitting a ridiculous .400 batting average. We need him to stay hot today and get us a hit for this parlay leg.
Miami Marlins vs Arizona Diamondbacks, 9:40 PM ET
LEG 3: Bryan De La Cruz to Record a Hit (-250) with DraftKings
The final leg for the +200 Winner is Bryan De La Cruz. Yesterday, we cashed the third leg in heroic fashion with a Ty France Homerun in the 1st Inning, a no sweat bet.
While I don’t expect De La Cruz to get us a homerun, I am confident he can get us a base hit.
Cruz is batting .250 on the season & has a hit in 4 straight games. Cruz has hit the ball better away from home (for whatever reason), hitting .271 on the road vs. .241 at home.
He’s on the road today in Arizona taking on Brandon Pfaadt (who will make his 2nd career start). Pfaadt didn’t have a great 1st start giving up 9 hits and 7 earned runs.
He will be better today, but De La Cruz can still get it done.
He will have at least four plate appearances, with the chance for five or more if the rest of the Marlins can do their job.
Take us home, Bryan!
