Tuesday MLB Parlay Analysis

Texas Rangers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 6:36 PM ET

LEG 1: Over 7.5 Runs (-145) with DraftKings

We started off the week with a parlay loser, so today, we must bounce back. We are counting on some runs from the Rangers & Pirates. Yesterday, these teams combined for 10 runs, despite only scoring one in the first five innings.

The DimersBot loves the Pirates on the moneyline and the +1.5, and while I am not that crazy, I do think that there will be run opportunities today.

Rich Hill is starting for the Pirates. He’s coming off his best start of the year with six scoreless innings vs. Detroit. Hill is not going to duplicate that against a very good Rangers offense. Rangers are 4th in Batting Average, 3rd in OPS & 1st in OBP vs. Lefties. They will get their chances vs. Rich Hill.

Nathan Eovaldi had a great start to May, but he’s coming back down to Earth. Eovaldi has allowed 2+ ER in six of nine starts. The Pirates have capable bats, I am confident they get their chances vs. Eovaldi and that Rangers bullpen.

I don’t hate the OVER at 8.5, but taking the 7.5 for safety in case the line is sharp.

Boston Red Sox vs Los Angeles Angels, 9:39 PM ET

LEG 2: Red Sox +1.5 (-230) with DraftKings

In our video, we picked the Red Sox to win outright. For the parlay, we’re taking the safer +1.5 with the road Red Sox.

Griffin Canning and his 6.14 ERA start for the Angels today. Even though the Red Sox are much better at home, they still should be able to hit him today. 

The Red Sox are 4th in extra base hit percentage. When they get hits, they usually make the pitcher pay and they’re in-line to do that to Canning today.

Brayan Bello had a rough first start against the Angels earlier this year. Bello has since rounded into form by not allowing more than two earned runs in four straight starts.

As long as the Red Sox bring the bats today, we should be in a great spot to cash this alternate run line.

Oakland Athletics vs. Seattle Mariners, 9:41 PM ET

LEG 3: Under 10.5 Runs (-215) with DraftKings

The last leg of this parlay is an alternate under. Yes we know Marco Gonzales is pitching today.

Last time Marco Gonzales pitched, he hosted batting practice and sank our parlay of the day. At home, Gonzales is better with a 4.76 ERA.

Marco faces a putrid Oakland offense today. The A’s are 27th in runs scored and 26th in hits. It’s now or never for Marco to put up a good start.

Luis Medina starts for Oakland. Medina gave Oakland a decent start in his most recent game with six innings and only allowing three earned runs.

If there’s anything we know about Seattle, it’s how streaky they are offensively. After scoring 11 yesterday, they’re crashing back down to earth today. 

With this alternate under, we can afford some runs. We can’t have another offensive explosion, which is something I don’t see happening.
