Braves vs. Pirates, 7:05PM ET

One of our main fade men, JT Brubaker, clocked up a rare W in his last trip out to the mound last week for the Pirates against the Red Sox, but he faces a much tougher test against the might of the reigning world champions tonight. Brubaker regularly gives up runs at will, meaning the combination of Atlanta's potent offense (ranked 4th in the MLB for runs scored per game) with Pittsburgh's overall awful team defense (ranked 27th in the league for opponent runs conceded per game) could mean that this one runs over the total early. We're expecting a dominant display from the Braves with some excellent plus money offered by combining them on the moneyline with the total runs.

Mets vs. Yankees, 7:05PM ET

The slumping Yankees were able to pull out a win last night to claim the first game of the midweek Subway Series against the Mets, but we find an intriguing matchup tonight with two pitchers on the mound who have a history of being wayward. Frankie Montas (4-10, 3.87 ERA) will be getting things underway for the Yankees, and his recent form since crossing over from the Athletics has been inconsistent to say the least, giving up an average of 4 runs over his last four starts. Taijuan Walker (10-3, 3.36 ERA) for the Mets is a similar proposition. He gave up 8 runs less than 3 weeks ago against the Braves. With the Yankees getting their mojo back (potentially), and the Mets looking to atone for last night, a high scoring contest looks likely.

BET: Total runs OVER 8.5 (-112) is rated as DimersBOT's best bet of the game.

Diamondbacks vs. Royals, 8:10PM ET

Unsurprisingly, these two teams that are well below .500 enter this midweek series in less then stellar form but the Diamondbacks are the one with the edge to take the W tonight. The Royals have been struggling to score runs over the past couple of weeks, averaging less than 3 runs per game over their last 10 outings. Without run pressure they'll struggle to keep up with the DBacks who are given a cushy matchup against pitcher Jonathan Heasley (1-7, 5.61 ERA). Kansas City have lost their last 5 games where Heasley has started with the starting ace recording an ERA of close to 10.00 during that span.
